He really is. He's just moved to Sporting Lisbon and that's probably a higher level than he belongs at. Seriously, look at their squad past their starting 11 and see how many of them would be "good enough" to be part of our squad.

Put Dani Alves in that Sunderland team and he'd look like crap too. The loan was entirely wrong for Denayer, he needs to play in GOOD teams, it's how he was brought up; our academy (one of the best) --> Celtic (one of the best in Scotland) --> Galatasaray (one of the best in Turkey) so far he has been great then... --> Sunderland (one of the worst in England) oh now he's a shit player what happened. Sunderland happened.

I didn't say it'd be perfect, obviously getting another RB is ideal, but that'd it might be sufficient because Walker would play the majority of the games. Denayer could play as a defensive RB dropping deeper giving the LB (probably Mendy) more attacking freedom. It's not as bad as you suggest.
 
Absolutely insane that we have off loaded 3
full backs without any new ones in.
Now we're rushing around like fools.
 
I hope we are looking for this years "Benjamin Mendy" someone that no one has heard of like Mendy this time last year that will break through, I think the LB at Nice (Delbert) could be that player

We let 3 completely finished ones leave on frees and rightly so. Just because you're panicking, doesn't mean the club is. We could randomly pick any 3 fullbacks out of any of the top 5 leagues and end up with better ones than the 3 we let go.

All this panicking over our backup RB, it's bizarre. Walker and Mendy are our first choices and they are the important ones, frankly we just need anyone with a bit of energy and the ability to stay fit to be our backups and they'd be an improvement over what we had

We should never have been in that position in the first place. Shows poor planning from the club. How often do clubs offload all their full-backs in 1 summer? Never.....expect us.

Better yet...how many clubs want to sign 4 full-backs in one summer?
