We won't be able to get Alaba but his understudy Bernat is comfortably better than every LB in the league. Young too and wouldn't cost much.

A left back should be the priority. Sagna is the only full back we have that I trust against a good team.

As far as I'm aware benfica are linked with a left back so maybe we could get him, but as someone said before hopefully we get bernat and fabinho

Sampdoria's RB Pedro Pereira..Kid's 18 years and close to rejoining Benfica.Sure we'll be linked with him in 3 years time when his RC is 70 M € or so.

Apparently Grimaldo hasn't played for the last ten weeks or so, maybe Lucas Hernandez is our new LB target.

Alaba is great fullback because he is used to be winger ( attacking midfielder ) before they converted him to LB at Bayern.

The same thing applies for Danny Rose and I am sure many other players.
