Don't we still need another right back since Alves snubbed us?
All this stuff about Trippier being better looks complete balls whenever I've seen him. I've looked out fro him a bit since he went to Burnley and wondered if he would be good enough for us to buy back but to me he looks indifferent defensively and not particularly quick. What he has got is a very good cross but without a target man it would be a lot less useful for us.
surprisingly excellent analysis from Sky.This review on Sky says he is far from average and one of if not the best rb in the league.

I don't bash your good fortune my friend so there is no 'bbas' argument to be had here. It is and has always been an un-level playing field in regards to money. Were it not the red mob across the way would not have ruled for so long. Fortunes change and now the wind is at your back. I, for one, hope you bash their heads in with your advantage. But equally I love that we do it on a relative shoestring. But if you have to believe that Kyle is coming to your place because of the promise of what is building while eschewing the good things going on at Spurs then I say more power to you.No I have come to an incorrect assessment from your perspective. Aside from being a long term player he is also at his peak and arguably the best right back in the premier league, which brings me nicely onto your next point, money. Alves moved for money, understandable as he has won everything in the game and is 34 years of age. Walker has seen the best squad assembled at Spurs for years, give it everything and then some and still fall short. He can see we are rebuilding a top squad and have one of the best managers in the world in place so he wants to be part of it. Modern footballers at the top level are multi millionaires at a young age so money isn't a massive motivation for some. I will not get drawn into the old ' Bankrolled by a sheikh' argument, I am sure others may.
When you start losing your best players to a rival it is a slippery slope. Other players will be concerned and a little envious of Walker, you better hope the replacements work out well.
Thats a bit of a sweeping statement , ive lived amongst and worked with lots of Rangers fans over the years and they are mainly pro City and empathise the fact we have to share a City with the red headed stepchild of football , like them.Neither. Do like to go and watch St mirren as theyre a local team and dont get to go back to Manchester that often. Supported city at park head though.

His fee is still the fee (but I get what you're saying)Factoring in the fees we have already received plus with what looks like kelchi going...walkers fee ain't that much really ...I like
And we're willing to pay double is wagesThem saying Trippier is better is like if Kompany left us and we were all saying "Adarabioyo is better anyway". Complete utter bollocks. Trying to laugh off the fact they just sold a rival their best RB cos he sees us as a more attractive club to play for.

Forget the fee for a minute. I'll be gutted to see him go.
You're kidding yourself if you think Trippier is anywhere near as good as Walker.
1.5 Sissokos is not enough for a player of his ability, injuries or not.
Pretty tinkled off about this if it's only 50m, why are we doing them favors, they should be desperate shouldn't they?
I like trippier but he's a significant step down from walker.
Disappointing if it does happen for that price.
Really surprised at the low fee and seems we didn't dig our heels in.
We simply HAVE to keep Dier now. To lose two players to title rivals is not ideal.
Can we now get on with signing someone please? Been a bit too quiet on the incoming front, the season starts in 1 month!
Spurs fans think we got a good deal and I agree.
Who has mentioned we don`t have a budget. You`re the only person that keeps on rabbiting that by paying £15M over the odds it must have an impact on future transfers. You must seriously be deluded if you think that.Of course. We have a budget. What part of that don't you understand?
No harm to you but you need to rein in what your saying, that's a tad to much ..Neither. Do like to go and watch St mirren as theyre a local team and dont get to go back to Manchester that often. Supported city at park head though.
