It's essentially the new Ibe is better than Sterling. Whenever people say Trippier is better than Walker you can simply highlight Spurs' game v United. Martial skinned Trippier all day, Walker came on and instantly had Martial on the back foot.

I don't bash your good fortune my friend so there is no 'bbas' argument to be had here. It is and has always been an un-level playing field in regards to money. Were it not the red mob across the way would not have ruled for so long. Fortunes change and now the wind is at your back. I, for one, hope you bash their heads in with your advantage. But equally I love that we do it on a relative shoestring. But if you have to believe that Kyle is coming to your place because of the promise of what is building while eschewing the good things going on at Spurs then I say more power to you.

Thats a bit of a sweeping statement , ive lived amongst and worked with lots of Rangers fans over the years and they are mainly pro City and empathise the fact we have to share a City with the red headed stepchild of football , like them.
 
Them saying Trippier is better is like if Kompany left us and we were all saying "Adarabioyo is better anyway". Complete utter bollocks. Trying to laugh off the fact they just sold a rival their best RB cos he sees us as a more attractive club to play for.

Yes but it's no disaster going into the season with Walker and Maffeo and Fern as back up.

Fear more for the left as Mendy does get injuries it seems and Kolorov is the only back up there. If we sign Mendy and only one more full back I'd prefer Bertrand or another Left back.
 
Spurs fans think we got a good deal and I agree.

Forget the fee for a minute. I'll be gutted to see him go.

Pretty tinkled off about this if it's only 50m, why are we doing them favors, they should be desperate shouldn't they?

I like trippier but he's a significant step down from walker.

Really surprised at the low fee and seems we didn't dig our heels in.

We simply HAVE to keep Dier now. To lose two players to title rivals is not ideal.

Can we now get on with signing someone please? Been a bit too quiet on the incoming front, the season starts in 1 month!
