I want a like button
They need to get a life
They had a life- it was watching their beloved raggies winning everything in sight.
That doesn't happen now so they have to replace it with coming on here and trying to remind us that they are still here and still relevant.

If they honestly think they only need two more signings then they are kidding themselves

Also, they will have to buy a lot on HG players soon. Assuming their academy doesn't come to their rescue:

Carrick - older than me
Young - not much younger than me
Jones - shit
Smalling - shit
Rashford - not much better

Will they just have 17 top forgien players and not bother with HG players or will they try and buy a few in the next few years?

Im sure Gill will introduce a new HG rule just in time

Lets get one basic fact right , the only reason people have supported MUFC for the past 30 years , is for an easy life , they are mentally too weak to support their local team and suffer a few seasons of mediocrity (with the odd cup run brightening up years of underachievement) . Tens of thousands of City fans have been through the wringer , we have had false dawns and we have stayed with our club through thin and thin for decades ,so for any armchair Rag to come on here and advise us of our fortune is just f*cking hilarious and proves how deluded Rags and their plastic fans really are.

Having spent hours trying to work out our squad in terms of 17 overseas, HG and club trained, thought I would look at uniteds to see if they face similar problems. Currently they have 15 overseas experienced first teamers, 3 Club trained (Shaw, Lingard and Rashford) not counting pogba) and 4 HG (Carick, smallish, Jones and Young). So they have at least 2 overseas spots available before they need to sell anyone else. Similar position to us. If Ibra comes back that leaves 1. Struggling to see how this is any better than last years squad?

I don't think Shaw is CT. Only at the swamp 2 years before he was 21.

Now that's a very good and well articulated post but it would have been much easier to just call him a **** and tell him to Fuck off :-)

Yeah, agreed - read it back and I can see that I started off in a mood to 'explain' but became more and more incensed with his shallow fuckwittery that I was essentially just telling him to fuck off - it would have been easier to cut to the chase

Really struggling to assess the rags this year, obviously it will be easier when the window shuts.

There main issue last year was scoring goals which on the face of it they have addressed by signing Lukaku, however they have lost big nose ( the Swedish one ). As such there is the argument that they have currently just stood still. The defence is the only other position they have strengthen but that looked quite solid last year as well.
So i can not see any major improvement for the £100 million + that they have spent.

By comparison we had major issue with our full backs and keeper, all of which I believe we have upgraded ( pending Mendy ). Add to the mix that we have added Silva ti improve our creativity and we look a whole lot better.

Stumbled across the highlights of their game against La Galaxy, looks like they went pretty strong with the starting line up. Ask yourself though, barring the donut thief would any of their players get in our first 11? would you have Bailly over Kompany? Nope, Lingaard over Sane? Nope, Lukaku over Jesus or Aguero? Nope.

We are creating a monster and the rags should already cacking themselves and the likes of Real Madrid,Barcelona and Bayern should be starting to get a bit concerned.

I agree, I think our squad is much better and will be set for years to come.

Your mistake is that, like a lot of rags, you are only capable of viewing football through the prism of Manchester United. Can you not conceive of the appalling arrogance of advising ANY other set of supporters upon how they should set about supporting their club?
Your assertion that our enjoyment of City's revival (and it is a fucking revival) is somehow tainted by the goings-on at Old Trafford is so wide of the mark, as to be borderline delusional. We're laughing our arses off at what's happening to your club.
As for City not being a traditional rival... what can I say? I'm Irish too and I get that the Jedwards of football fans, glory-hunting clowns that support United or Liverpool around this country have fuck all notion about the game bar the ya-boo "banter" that ye consider to be the only true expression of footballing rivalry. It's all ye know. It's all ye have. I get it. Just know that whilst ye are wanking each other off, there's a City fan... or a QPR fan... or even a Leeds or Wolves fan listening, who wholly understand what ye will never know - what it is to support a team that hasn't got a fucking prayer. Ye will never grasp that because ye can't conceive of what we've been through; what we're all about; what supporting a team means.
Trust me when I tell you that I got as much joy out of Shaun Goater scoring a flukey goal in a play-off semi-final v Wigan as I did watching Yaya rampage through Villa or (to coin a reference you might actually understand) Dzeko bang the sixth nail into the coffin at the Swamp.
It's simply not your place to advise any other fans upon how to go about their business and it may surprise you to learn that even if it were, you are supremely unqualified to do so.

they went backwards in attack. Ibrahimovic at 35 is twice a player Lukaku is, not because Lukaku is shit but Ibrahimovic is outstanding. And for all shit he was getting from them loyal fans, Rooney had like 10 goals and 7-8 assists last year. their only hope is rashford not having a period of months without a goal like last season.

I wouldn't have Bailly over a fit Kompany, but as an option to play alongside him?
