i love it when all these threads get moved to the bluemoon forum...shows we signing our targets!! If only the Mbappe thread would do the same!;)

agree with you on this one. Let's be clear, rivalry with rags was one of City's main selling points since takeover and one of the reason SM bought the club - it was guaranteed media attention. He could have easily make Aston Villa the club we are now or close to that but the rags link made us much more marketable.

Going on USA or Asia tours is about raising your profiles there and it's bit strange that we gave them a free run on raising their profile by winning us easily. Technically, it is worthless game, one to have players bit of fitness and I'd be fine if preseason games vs Madrid, Barca, Juve etc. is treated like that but should have taken Rags game bit more seriously if we are about raising our profile.
 
So can someone answer me this ?

Not taking into account , Nasri , Mangala , Bony , Kelechi or Fernando,

I make it that we can still sign 2 foreign players for champions League squad as Jesus and Sane would count as foreign for champs league

But we can actually still get 4 foreign players for our premier league squad seeing as Sane and Jesus would count as under 21 still

Is this correct ?

If so then we can add Mangala just for premier league even and still but a foreign defender and forward

Tolmie said last night that after mendy it would be another 150m and dropped another hint about someone instigating something this morning.

From what we can gather on here it looks possible IF we do get our targets then our open would be equal or thereabouts to that figure

Potential targets (some are guesses based on TH clues):

Sanchez - will probably got to the wire....Arsenal being stubborn (understandably) ....will need Sanchez to be the "instigator" of something potentially

A Real madrid player -

Nabi Keiter - taken from TH's into about nabbing someone...linked to the dippers recently but they have supposedly had a 70m plus offer already turned down.

A mystery centre half - all guess work but the guesses include VVD(from Southampton), Skertal, Alderwiereld (spurs) - personally I think it might be VVD - it would cause a lot of eruptions at for one liverpool had been in for him but got accused of tapping him up and then if we were to go ahead and nab him after all that it would be a real kick in the bollocks for the dippers.

Twosips and I have already decided its Mendy Benny Menday as in U2s Sunday bloody Sunday, now go and practice or look it up if your not an owd cnut.
 
I'm stupid and can't find the Guardiola thread, but:

There have been ITKs here saying Guardiola would or did already extend his contract and it should be announced in summer. Anyone?

Well far be it for me to contradict twosips on anything musical. And maybe my adolescent crush on Susanna Hoffs is telling here, but "Manic Monday" seems a great basis for the song. Could be very simple and easy to repeat.

Tolm said he would extend.

His biographer, Marti Perarnau, alluded to the same by suggesting Pep sees City as a long term project of at least 5 years (and things wouldn't be really in motion until 2018)

If you look at the foundations he's laying here, there's no way he doesn't see it through to the end.
