Zidane should, at least in my opinion, be a bigger draw to Mbappe over Pep. He was the French sporting icon when Mbappe was growing up. Playing under your idle is the stuff of dreams. Although Pep has a knack for attracting and producing great players wherever he goes. Should be interesting to say where Mbappe sides in all of this. If he comes to Manchester to play with Pep and some of his old teammates over Madrid and what is likely his boyhood idle....A true shift in Europe's giants is happening.
 
Perhaps we could include Aguero in the Mbappe deal: Say, £90 million plus Aguero? That way they get a fantastic replacement for Mbappe and we don't sell to a team we don't want to sell to.

Players aren't slaves. There's only a handful of clubs Aguero would come to imo, and that's Real Madrid and back to back to Argentina (too soon for that one).

They won't want Kun's wages.

Most likely for me, if we are in for both Mbappe and Alexis, is Aguero to Real and Benzema to Arsenal. Monaco to find replacements from smaller European or South American leagues, as seems to be their MO.

Can't see Aguero going to play in the French league. It also doesn't seem to fit with Monaco's philosophy of buying young, cheap players with potential.
 
Fuck it if we cant keep Aguero then rather it didnt happen, sentimental i know, he has been loyal to us and we should show him more respect. Tin hat in place.

I'm kind of similar. I think we can sign either Mbappe or Alexis and keep a space for Aguero, and I'd prefer that to signing both and losing Kun.
 
If I were mbappe I would not sign unless I knew pep was also signing a long term deal. Pointless him signing here and by the times he's 20 the coach he wanted to play under is somewhere else.

Unfortunately this isn't how the top table dine. We're ran by top table men, this how they play the game. If it happens, it happens.

Not averse to signing both Mbappe and Sanchez and leaving it to the players to get picked based on their performance just dont want Aguero sold to any rival. 93.20 will live with me forever.
