Neymar

Is it true Barca are trying to form an 'anti PSG' coalition with some of Europe's top clubs? haha

I can imagine it now:
Us, PSG, Real, Chelsea and Milan
vs
Barca, Juve, Bayern, Utd and Arsenal

Surely PSG can report or sue La liga for this? It can't possibly be legal for them to do this. They're not UEFA, only UEFA can rule on FFP, they have no right to reject the buyout.

Pretty much sums up why FFP is a complete joke.

A club owned by one of the richest families in the world is scrutinised for spending £200m on a player they could afford 500 times over.

However a club in £500m debt can still go out and spend a further £150m plus whoever else they buy this summer.

Ridiculous how much the 'traditional elite' are protected.

The biggest joke of it all is how fans of United and Liverpool etc actually believe that the concept was designed to make things 'fairer'.

I had a conversation with a Rag many months ago about this and it was astonishing how he didn't see any hypocracy in his views.

I argued that if you want proper 'fair play' then all clubs should be given an equal transfer and salary cap. His response was along the lines of "why should United only be allowed to spend the same as WBA when they earn more and have a bigger fanbase?"

It's like going round in circles with these morons over the issue. In essence, what they want is a system where you can only spend what you earn but clubs cannot invest to improve. A consequence of which will allow United to cherry-pick what ever players they want from the rest of the PL in a similar manner to Bayern, Barca and Madrid.

Who's pulling who's chain here?
Is this all La Liga doing, or are Barca egging them on,

Or has Madrid got anything to do with it, considering the fella in charge of La Liga is a Madrid fan.

Hazard will be a right pain in the arse for Chelsea if Barca make a serious move for him.
So realistic money in this inflated market , hazard can command 100 million easily and maybe around 50 plus for coutinho.
With that kind of funds coming in to our rivals , I hope it doesn't mess our future targets.

He is still the league president, and this lowers Barca's status in the world somewhat, surely. He is the clear next best player in the world after Ronaldo and Messi decline further, and surely his presence is lucrative to all clubs in the league.

800 Grand a week AFTER tax. Fucking obscene but hey-ho that's football. Cant help but think its going to collapse at some near point in the future

Couldnt the Spanish League be taken to court for breach of freedom of movement of workers in the EU?

It does seem quite clear that what they are doing has no legal basis.

It's either posturing, or they hope to tarnish both PSG and Neymar's reputation as much as they can, and waste as much time as they can to ensure more media attention to help with this, as well as of course train with PSG. (i.e. major non-sport US papers not reporting this yet, they are still reporting just the looming transfer)

It's their own reputation they are tarnishing, coming across as sore and helpless losers while PSG dry bum them.

Nasser Al-Khelaïfi (PSG's president) with Emmanuel Macron (pro OM) this morning in the outskirts of Paris...

Easy this. Neymar asks for a loan off a bank in Qatar for £198m interest free. Payments being £1m a week over 4 years. He then does promotional work in Qatar at least 1 day a week which he gets paid £1m per week. Pays what ever his tax is on his PSG wages in France and tax on his promotional work in Qatar which might be tax free.

French pro league published few mn ago this statement which said that LFP do not understand (& are wondering) why la Liga refused to accept the payment for Neymar release clause etc...LFP is asking la Liga to respect FIFA rules etc...LFP is baking up PSG for the transfer of Neymar etc...
