I for one am fairly relaxed about your point. The squad seems - from pre-season and training vids - to be in a happy place and is more than good enough to compete if not win the lot. Sometimes adding a particular player can upset that. It has been the best window we've ever had. Biggest problem was fullbacks and keeper and that is resolved - also many of the fringe players on high wages shifted and that alone will bring opportunities for the likes of Foden and Diaz. If the club feels we need another striker they will go and get one - for me I would wait and see then if injuries occur we can add in Jan when we will have already won 200 games ha!

I am not sure where we are up to with him, but isn't this what he's worked for for the last 5 years - an opportunity to play 1st team football for one of the top teams in Europe. Right now there's more chance of him playing first team football with MCFC than other Premiership clubs. It maybe we're too far gone I don't know. He just strikes me as an obvious solution. Hopefully something can be sorted out
