Typical city then. You missed off us having an on side goal disallowed for offside, their goal coming from a handball, sterling and Silva getting sent off for retaliation from multiple back leg scrapes and kompany, ederson and stones getting injured..

Personally I think we'll win 4-0 but the pundits will stick pick holes in the couple we miss

3-5-2 all preseason but opener seems the right moment to use a 4-3-3 and attack a little more as they'll most likely be sitting back on us most of the game. prob still be a 3-5-2 but ah, i'm just ready to see us in some competitive action!

Gone against a life time of pessemism and put a few pennies on City to win and there to be in excess of 4.5 goals in total. I was thinking 2-5 but since i placed the bet i am thinking 1-0

Pep has spoke about the use of the 3-4-3 diamond midfield in the last three pre season matches so I think he'll go with it again. Either Yaya plays and one of De Bruyne or Silva miss out or he plays one of them at the pivot and has Stones or Kompany play as a libero. Alternatively, he plays one of them out wide and so Sterling and Sane are both on the bench.

Have not voted on the score cos I dont want to jinx it but I am really looking forward to this season. Truly believe that we will play some fantastic football, whether that will convert to trophies I dont know, but now Pep has had time to sort things out we will see his ideas interpreted a lot better this season. As for the game, a win with a good performance would be great (even if the media will play it down).
