We'll see what happens when they're playing 3 games a week, and Jose refuses to rotate like he did last season... This is where they'll struggle...
 
I certainly don't underestimate the evil bastards and fully expect it will be between us and them for the title and it will be close. Its a difference in styles and their side reminds me of our 2011/12 team where we had height and strength as well as flair. When they start flattening and elbowing us ,ref's will default to their rag tendencies and look the other way.
Ignore the scum at your peril .
 
They will be right in the mix for the title this year and could win it, very easy start to build confidence and I'm nowhere near as sure as last year that Chelsea Spurs Liverpool will take points off them
It might not be the best football but 3 points is 3 points
We can't afford hardly any blips if we are to win it IMO and I think we are in for a very tense season but one that will be very very satisfying if we win cos it's them we will have beaten to it

I'm not basing this on them beating West Ham yesterday by the way

UEFA have asked Real Madrid to return the Super Cup
It's now going to be awarded to Manchester United due to their thrashing of West Ham on Sunday

Following Sunday's defeat of West Ham, United have also lodged an appeal with the FA, as they believe they should also now be awarded this season's Community Shield due to the nature of the result
 
Utd. would certainly make a great basketball team. It's gonna be fun watching the likes of Silva and Bernardo run between the legs of these giants and pass them off the park.

I also think that maybe a new chant is required for this team of giants and I suppose the first verse has to be based on the original classic line.....FEE-FI- FO-FUM I smell the blood etc.....anyone got any ideas...haha!!.

They won't make top four, never mind sustain a title challenge. When they play better sides they'll be massively exposed. See what happened against Madrid midweek who were two weeks behind them in terms of preparation.

It was good to see Joe back.
Thought he had a good game overall and wish him luck for the future, should still be here imho

What game were you watching? Shite distribution and beaten centre left for their 4th goal. You could probably let him off for 2 or 3 of the goals... But Pogbas he should have been much closer to it than that.
 
To me they looked seriously impressive. They have the quality now to pass their way though most teams and the ruthlessness to cripple anyone who plays well against them. They look like Spurs last year but nastier. We only play them in 2 league games so it's more likely that our other 36 games will determine our success. I'd just assume that United (and Spurs) will keep the pressure on us so that every point counts....making it a very exciting season.
 
The premier league team of the season took shape yesterday.

Dr gea in goal, Matic nailed on, lookakyu. Striker.
Pogba also included. It's early doors so they may get one or two more.

No Aguero this season I fear.
