Pretty sure they're immune to fire; or at least so cold that they extinguish it. One walked through fire at Hardholme before fighting Jon, and the Night King did the same here.

Yep - Immune to plain fire. Valyrian Steel or Dragonglass kills White Walkers - the King though may be immune to these too.
Dragonfire may be another issue - as is Wildfire.

Cersei's dragon gun thing that Bronn used was burnt but was there only one of them made? I'm thinking an arrow with a dragon glass tip may work?

The nights king could easily have taken them all out when they were a sitting dragon on the island he more or less walked right up to them but instead went for the most difficult dragon flying miles in the sky. Some javelin thrower he turned out to be!
