I don't understand why he would stay at Southampton while he could possibly move to a big club. He may want Liverpool, but Southampton don't want to do business with them. If he's holding out for Liverpool, then he's a stubborn twat.

Yes, I if I recall correctly, we agreed a deal with Southampton very early on in the window, but the guy was ònly iñtersted in siğniñg for Kĺopp. Nothing you can do in that situation, sadly - As arsenal are (allegedly) about to discover (re Sanchez & Pep)He doesn't want to join City though. He's been steadfast since May in saying he only wants to join Liverpool.
