Alexis Sanchez

His performance and behaviour on Sunday showed he's not going to just go back to normal. He's a player who doesn't care about his clubs, he cares about his personal career and he's going to be toxic at Arsenal if he stays.

I don't disagree with any of that, however I think Arsene and Arsenal are blind enough to believe he will.

We didn't get Mbappe. Evans looks unlikely. We've moved Sancho and Bony on. Surely we can improve on our 55m bid. Looks like we don't want to be shown to be weak though after having it initially accepted. Sometimes you just got to suck it up though if you want a player.

For me the only concession I would make would be to do away with the add on's and just go with a flat £60 million, take it or leave it.

Pretty obviously not happening. Ah well, passed a few hours. They arent going to sell with no replacement, delusional to think so and there'd be riots in London tonight if they did!

Firstly you don't know that so stop making shit up. Secondly what would you have us do? Hire the SAS and kidnap him? He's Arsenal's player. They've chosen to keep him against his will end of story.

well with our profligacy in front of goal, no we won't win the title. We clearly have a big budget and are simply nit-picking, just pay up and stop being weird over who we'll give stupid money too, we do it plenty often with lesser players.

I'd be amazed if this doesn't happen. Why would Arsenal want a player who blatantly does not want to stay.
If this deal was scripted it could not have played out better so far!

I'm not gathering mate, explain. Are you trying to say your rich as fuck and you don't care if you lose out on loads of money you've put on?

No but you took huge delight in laughing on a blue losing money? I can afford to post it but more pissed off if Sanchez doesn't come then the cash

What a mess. Both sides have left this way too late. The fallout will be bad for all parties. Imagine Pep now. Imagine Sanchez now?!

Months wasted due to both sides posturing. Sorry .. seems that way.

Arsenal keeping a very unhappy player because they can't get a replacement is ridiculous. Sanchez still won't play for them.

Arsenal weren't going to sell until the shambles at Liverpool.

That made them decide to talk to City and to try and sort out a deal.

But because Arsenal left it too late after changing their minds, they now have to make Sanchez stay and to limp through the rest of the season with him.

Without Sanchez, Arsenal are f***ed. With Sanchez it will calm the unrest on the terraces, and Arsenal might end up in the top 6 at least.

Dissapointing but we've had a good window all in all. However I don't believe anyone is really an ITK On here or is privy to anymore inside information than the rest of us.
The reality is until a player is seen with a blue shirt on signing the contract noone ultimately knows for sure. Take people's opinions with a pinch of salt.

This is what will happen. As has been the trend in the last few hours , we'll have an hour of doom and gloom followed by one tweet saying it's back on. Then it'll be a couple of hours breakdancing followed by news it's done.
This will be like sterling's goal at Bournemouth. When we all think it's over BANG!! A late bid, fee agreed and cue unbridled joy.

No running on the pitch

You really believe he's put all that money on
Yeah, I'd like to see a screenshot of his betting slip, otherwise it could look like he's trying to blame someone for offering advice, rather than his own stupidity. Anyway, seeing as it's also someone else's fault, I trust he'll be back to offer him a share of his winnings when he signs.

Think it would have helped if Alexis himself had handed in a transfer request. If he did it would 100% happen imo.
