You've got the worst scenario so I don't know what point you are trying to make.

In my view you've had the best years of Sanchez anyway, and although City had made him our main target, I think it might work out in our favour being able to buy a young forward next season.

Yep. This may have been his chance to move to City. Hopefully a gem gets unearthed next season as we will be in a strong position to purchase them with the other top teams strengthening already this season.
