UEFA: "There is no investigation into Manchester City with regards to Financial Fair Play regulations. Any reports are unsubstantiated."

You're actually missing the point. La Liga claims that our revenue "benefits from sponsorships that make no economic sense and lack any fair value." IT is not our spending which is attacked, but our income, which is supposed to be the resiult of "doping".
Exactly!... what we make in the Etihad deal is actually lower overall than what clubs like Chelsea and United get by splitting it up(they even have separate sponsors for training kits and training grounds)... forgetting overseas "supporters" tallies they like to dish out, we are now one of the most watched teams in the most watched league in the world... but "no fair value"? sure. We'd easily get more if we wanted, it's all sour grapes, we've made it to the top table whether they want to admit it or not. Thanks I understand now, it usually takes a while. Still, i think the whole thing stinks!! Have Real not been state funded for their whole f###in existence?
No.Missed it they say anything interesting?
Which is why I wanted to find the original article!I don't believe the part inbold for a moment. He's a (or will be a) French tax resident. It doesn't matter where the money is 'earned' be it Paris or Doha, he is still (or will be) taxed as a French tax resident and will taxed be on worldwide earnings whilst residing in France.
Definitely not. They still have umpteen quibbles to answer to.How annoying for the anti-City media that the facts get in the way of the headline.
By the way after UEFA's swift response to the story today, do we stop booing?
90 days gets you UK tax status. Not half a year fwiw.Is taxation different for different tax treaties ?
For instance Spain and UK depends entirely on days residing in any particular Tax Year in that country. Also nothing to do with citizenship.
Over half days living in say Spain then Spanish tax rules apply irrespective of where earned.

Not sure bud, I just know I'm not allowed more than 90 midnights in the U.K. Or I get taxed on my worldwide (Qatar) income. Thanks for that info, I was mentioning Spain because of its double taxation agreement with UK.
