I've seen several bitter fan bases link these reduced sanctions to corruption, which I find hilarious since the concept of FFP itself (in its current form at least) is about as corrupt as it gets, built on a protectionist agenda and unenforceable in most things other than football (which is governed by the UEFA and FIFA mafias).

Corruption is more along the lines of restricting a club/business from spending money it has access to because it upsets those who said spending challenges.

As most City fans knew something like this was the direction of travel for FFP it makes it even more enjoyable seeing the Gooners and united fans etc apoplectic with rage.

Christmas has come early.
