Danny Kelly making an absolute twat of himself on talkshite over Mane, Matt Holland and Simon Jordan trying to get through to him but he's spluttering and spitting bile like i'v never heard before, never really had him down for a City hater
Never heard or seen or read so much shite about the mane red card, just goes to show what bias there is out there, the defending of mane is disgusting not the fact that there was no intent, but the blatant fact it was reckless dangerous play and could have been a lot worse with us ending up with another cech incident..would we have had this much outrage if it had of been say West Brom v Stoke or so on,god knows what it would have been like if it was mignolet with aguero or g.jesus with the high foot, you can bet it would have been a stonewall red in their eyes then..

Either the pundits (generally ex players) are biased (understandable) or they're a bit thick. It really doesn't take much thought to realise that the reason the rule about "endangering" a player was brought in to prevent a very serious injury. They may all say "My manager would shout at me if I pulled out of a challenge like Mane's" or "It's not like it was in my day" but they're missing the point completely. The fact is that Mane knew Ederson was there whether he looked at him or not. Ederson could not legally handle the ball because he was out of his area so he HAD to use his head. If Mane had known that he would be sent off, he would have been far less likely to go into the challenge with his foot at head height. If his manager had known he'd be sent off, he'd have had no right to blame Mane for not going in with his foot raised.

The rule is there to PROTECT PLAYERS FROM SERIOUS INJURY.

Ederson could have lost an eye, suffered a broken jaw/cheekbone or fractured skull. It could have ended his career. How would Mane feel about it then? Remember Petr Cech?

Once players, coaches, managers, commentators & pundits understand that such a challenge means an automatic red card, all the players will be safer & we won't have to put up with this shit any more.

Could take a while with Chris Sutton. It was beyond belief quite how stupid he was on MOTD - it was embarrassing it was like he couldn't understand English - let alone Football.

Haha, not the sharpest tool in the box was he. I actually felt sorry for him he was so out of his depth discussing a simple issue and understanding simple rationale.

Have you ever heard Ray Houghton try to conjugate a verb? Truly something to behold.

Has any footballer who has received a rag card for dangerous play ever been defended by the media in this country as much as mane has, it's absolutely disgusting. It shows how much they despise city and not giving a single thought or concern for Ederson,s injury, the guy could have had serious injury to his face or eyes they make me fucking sick to the core.
Is that a misspelling? As far as I'm aware, a 'rag card' is some kind of membership thing you get given by Facebook when their algorithms work out you have low self esteem.

Take it easy mate, the poor bloke has 3 hours of (hot) air time to fill. I heard some of it earlier; harmless and irrelevant, as well as wrong

Wait for the 360 when Derty Alli gets away with our me before the seasons out.

Just wait for Kevin to be sent off for a missed tackle but demonstrating intent for ending a follow professionals career (media narrative).

If nothing else, the blatant bias of the media so clearly displayed by the unlovely parade of ex-pros and sycophantic wannabe journos , has vindicated those of us who have pointed out the relentless campaigning against our club. The evidence is stark, undeniable and vitriolic.
It has even been sugggested that City players persuaded the ref to issue the red card, and the club should be punished ffs, ffs. Klopp should not get away scot-free with his accusation that there was no contact.....unforgivable and showed his true nature as a nasty twat

Im finding myself getting really fucking angry at this to the point its unhealthy ffs.

Scouse ****s and those that lick their arses!

Same here, this has really got me going,if they reduce his ban the club should put in a counter claim or threaten to do him for assualt ,we won't though and that will make me even madder

Remember last season when Mahrez's penalty was disallowed because he accidentally touched it twice? The pundits all took the view that the letter of the law had been correctly applied but that it was a stupid law. Shearer was one of those pundits and he took the same position with the Mane red card. "Yes by the letter of the law it's a red card but it's stupid" was his response.

The other really annoying thing is that the pundits will hammer a ref who gets things wrong but when a ref correctly applies the letter of the law, he gets hammered. The FA/PGMOL should be coming out saying that Jon Moss correctly interpreted the law in the case of this incident and applied it correctly.

I can see Liverpool players wearing Mane T shirts this week fucking embarrassing twats. This isn't being helped by wankers like Lineker, Neville, Sutton & that twat Neil Ashton.

You wait for the next bad tackle from a City player it will cause an uproar..
