Except he didnt. Yaya played in the pre season games in America and looked leaner and fitter than he ever has

Maybe wants him to move the ball quicker, or not go into certain positions, something technical like that.

Or is maybe just winding him up because he looks too happy & laid back & he wants more intensity.

Otherwise we have Aguero, KDB, Walker to up the level.

(Might make sense to not include all 3 of the youth so Yaya can play a part and get match fit)

I think maybe we will play only 2, maybe 3 kids max, mixed in with a strong supporting cast. I think the difference is now that our bench is loaded with class, where last year it was fernando, nolito, navas etc, now its Sane, Gundogan, Bernardo coming in.

Good thing that even if Yaya is not considered for selection (though who knows), we can have Delph as the pivot, even though quite obviously he's not at Yaya's level especially in this position, and Gundogan and Foden and Bernardo as other option in that 'false 8' thingy in front of the pivot. So quite a few nice options while I hope Merlin, KdB and Fernandinho don't even travel.

Can not understand everybody putting g Mendy in there team he is so important to us with no replacement and we shouldn't be playing him in a game that really doesn't mean that much.
