Bravo

Tosin, Komps Mangala
Danillo Gundogan Bernardo Delph
Sane Stirling
Jesus

God its harder than I thought doing this . Idont want us to risk injuries but I want us to stay in the competition at the moment.
Bench
Ederson, Walker, Mendy, Silva, Kev ,Aguero Diaz

Some real whacky team line ups being proposed on here.

I think most make sense in one way or another. We have some fantastic players who are on the fringe i.e. Sane and B Silva and some that need game time if they are going to be squad players i.e. Delph and Mangala and then we have some great young players like Tosin, Foden and Diaz. Makes sense to try and rotate them in now.

I understand what you are saying, but there was one I saw yesterday that had 8 of his team not even having played together this season, with many not even played a game. I appreciate it is just a bit of fun though.

Strongest team please Pep. Try to win everything and make the press choke on their Mc bagels.

how do our squad players or young players get any game time ? whats the point in having a big squad if we play the same team every game for every competition. id play a strong team with players like tosin, foden and delph starting

Bravo
Danilo Tosin Mangala Mendy
delph
foden Gundogan
Sterling -- G.Jesus ------Sane

something like this. still a really strong team

No, it's 2.2. Doesn't really change the argument though.
The argument that it's fixed against us?

Oh yeh. That strong argument.

Would he prefer us to be playing Monday next week as well as Tuesday in the fucking CL? That's the reason we are playing Saturday in the league.

The Albion lost to Northampton away at this stage last season, when TP fielded a weakened side, but they also went out of the FA Cup at home to Derby, again at the first stage. So, I would imagine Albion fans will want him to take the cups more seriously this season, already tenth in the league, and field a strong side.

Not overly fussed this year tbh.

Bravo
Walker, Stones, Mangala, Danilo
Gundogan, Delph, B.Silva
Sterling, Jesus, Sane

Sub - Gundo for Foden, Jesus for Diaz and Walker for Mendy.

Think Pep has got to box clever in this to be honest. He got it badly wrong with his rubbish selection vs The Rags last season - they were down and out and knocking them out would have been a final blow to them. However he picked a poor team and he didn't seem interested.
In December we were in with a shout of 3 comps but ended up with nothing - the lesson is every trophy matters and he needs to get off the mark. This is a tough game and he needs his strongest xi, with a few changes.

Need to use our squad for this game, giving some fringe players some game time BRAVO +++ DANILO , STONES, MANGALA , +++ DELPH, GUNDOGAN , YAYA , BERNARDO, SANE +++ STERLING not sure what side club shop tony will play , but we can probably rest 9 or 10 players and still give them a game , which shows the sheer strength of our squad , but we also need to take this competition seriously unlike last season , after all as we all know now the Rags have won it ,its a "major" trophy

It matters to fans more. I wouldn't think the whatever it is called cup is high on his list of priorities this year. He played a weakened team for a reason last year. He wasn't bothered about it and we had a bigger game to come. The side will be stronger this year because the players are better.

Bravo, Danilo, Mangala, Delph, Sane, Bernardo, Gundogan should all start and I expect Toure will too. I then expect Sterling and either Jesus or Aguero and Tosin or Kompany.

It should be too strong for West Brom reserves either way.

We should be competing in everything period.

It''s time to unleash Uncle Yaya folks!
A midfield 4 of Delph, Yaya, Gundogan & B.Silva ain't bad at all. Pacey front 3 Sane/Jesus/Sterling and then any back 3 will be alright against WBA. They will hardly get a kick.

Where is Yaya these days?

I was reading people's line ups and thinking we really could do with Yaya getting his sh*t together....this is the perfect game for him.

Bravo
Danilo Stones Mangala
Foden Yaya Gun Delph
B.Silva Sterling Sane

I don't care what side Pep puts out, within reason. I just love mid-week football. Breaks up the working week nicely.
6/7/8 days is too long to wait, when we are playing like we are.

I'm sure he wouldn't want that, but he'd probably prefer West Brom to be playing on Saturday as well.

Not that I think the game times prove anything agenda-wise - fixture placement gets criticized by every manager from time to time. Arsenal probably aren't too happy to be playing West Brom on Monday when they have a Chimps League game on Thursday.

I think it's fair to say that I'd be surprised if the following players didn't play:

Bravo
Danilo
Mangala
Delph
Gundogan
Bernardo
Leroy
Sterling

I'd like to think that Yaya will be back in the fold for this one, in which case that would be 9 players, maybe add Vincent if he's fit and it's decided it would benefit him to play so that would give 10.

Chuck in a couple of first teamers and a few kids and jobs a good un.
