After last season's no.1 keepers performances I think we'd have accepted anyone with open arms, Eddie does seem to be a pearl though.Absolute relief he's here.

What’s even better was he went forward against Lukaku but was not fast enough in our preseason game against the rags and conceded because of it. But he didn’t care about it and still play the same way every single time. Winners mentality. If this kid keeps his head together, we could be talking about a truly world class player on our hands here.
Agree with what others have said. Great distribution but good core skills - especially on crossing.
There's one moment from yesterday that I want to point to though. We're 1-0 up to the Champions at their ground. We're playing keep ball a bit. The Chelsea press is coming on stronger. And a couple of weeks ago you were conceded from a player kicking you in the head.
Yet in the 87th minute of the game, this lad charges right off his line, out of the 18 yard box and wins a through ball. He surveys his options and when finding none, cleared it from danger.
The balls is takes to do that when nobody on the world would criticise him for staying in his box are massive
That rifled freekick into G.Jesus was mint
That run towards the halway line was mint
The sweeping up in the 2nd half was mint
His short distribution was mint
His commanding of his area was mint
His throw out to Sterling was mint
His smiley tattoo is mint
The fact he looks like a S.American boxer is mint.
I like him quite a bit
Id agree with this and add that, for long periods he has little to do other than watch the game ahead of him, but when he is called to do something - he is there. Excellent concentration levels for the whole gameAlready the best allround keeper in the league. And that by some distance, for me.
Great shotstopper, bosses his area, sweeps up brilliantly, fantastic distribution (feet and hands).
I know what your'e saying but I do believe we would see a very different Bravo with this new back line in placeHe's so good that he makes me get anxious every time I even see Bravo on the bench. To go from the problem of last year to Ederson, is amazing. Worth at least 10 points by the end of the season.
What's the betting that he'll score a goal this season? If a keeper comes up for a corner in the last minute, I can genuinely see him scoring from our box.
What we need is a goalkeeper brave enough to come up for a corner and then do this in the last minute of a game:
Incredible. :-)
