Hi guys,

Long term observer - first time poster. Please go easy.

Our squad this year is potentially the strongest I've ever seen it. A prime Yaya and Kompani (I think this may be the only area we may come unstuck against the elite teams) and I'd say it would be up their with the likes of Madrid etc... I think we still lack 2 players.

Guardiola has long had an edge of moanio, and we simply play more attractive football but it would be foolish to not think they are the next next team in the league. I see on their forums they are taking us some what lightly - I'd rather us not fall in to the same trap as they do have some powerful players.

I hate them and would love to have another season watching them be piss poor but time to smell the coffee and realise they're genuine this year (until moanio leaves them in rags in a season or two).

And what pray, are you basing your claim that they are genuine this year?

I've been reading this forum for years but feel compelled to make my first post in praise of them ****s.
Yeah right, jog on.

Actually I wasn't praising them, just expressing my opinion they are the next best team in the league after us... albeit at least 3-4 players short on us.

At risk of being laballed a rag; they have matched us on every result this year. Yes, they have mainly played fodder but you can only beat what's in front of you.

I hope they come unstuck after the break.

They try and be smart about hiding their allegiance but they are that thick at it, it becomes even more obvious. But my point remains, they are shitting themselves as they are starting to realise how far off the pace they are.

So them playing fodder and, in many cases, not playing very well makes them contenders - not for me
