Breaking records/stats thread

I do wonder if some people on here have ever followed football before? A draw is a draw, it cannot be a win. We won the tie, sure, but the match was a draw!

Just seen on os that its 12 in a row, didn't think penalty shoot out win counts as a game win ?
They don't and there's plenty of prior evidence that the people who run the website don't understand football. As I posted on another thread a shoot-out is a proxy replay, the match ended as a draw.

We won the game so it's a win,if we lost on penalties would it be still classed draw no way it would be a defeat and our unbeaten run would be over.

So if we lost on pens it would be a draw then according to you,no it would be a defeat and our unbeaten run would have ended. Last night was a win and its 12 on the bounce.
We would have drawn the match and lost the tie. Matches last 90 minutes - did we win in 90 minutes?

When Maureen was on his long run of never having lost at home at Porto/Chelsea (first stint) and then InterMadrid, he "lost" a LC game at home on pens (Charlton, I think), but his unbeaten home run continued.

On reflection, that might have been league games, my bad!

The shoot-out is purely to decide who qualifies for the next round or in the case of a Final to decide who lifts the trophy. The result of the match is a draw.
