Breaking records/stats thread

We only lost 2 premier league games in 2017, Chelsea away and can’t remember the other one?

you need treatment for premature ejaculation, just saying. Let's stay focused on getting the job actually done first.
 
It is clear our form is amazing this season. But what I am also enjoying in regards to the EPL, is that every other team that is classed as a contender, is dropping points all over the place. It’s one thing worrying about a potential dip in form for us, but it would have to be massive due to there not being another team putting a run together. Only us in the top four won this week.
 
Do all these records count as ‘history’ when that last remaining rag argument, the ‘no history’ one, rears it’s silly little head?

We’re gonna to have every fucking bit of history in our back pockets by season’s end.

It’ll all be that type the rags don’t understand as well. That ‘modern day’ type.

I am not sure if they are records but there is very real chance that we could get to the 70 point mark in January, and i can see the title being sealed in March :).

Not saying it will happen but there is a real possibility.

Regarding the 70 point mark, we need 15 points from the following games before Feb.
Newcastle away.
Palace away.
Watford home.
Liverpool away.
Newcastle Home
West Brom Home.
 
Every game will be a tricky one until we beat the record because teams know they can make headlines for just not losing against us. Boxing Day is always a day for unpredictable results so happy we’re not playing until 27th. Will be interesting to see who we sign in the window, we don’t need strengthening the starting but squad can handle some defensive cover and I would love to see Sanchez too. It’s hard to imagine that it wasn’t too long ago that Pep was getting grief from some fans and Nico looked like a donkey.

Usually they either adjust the points or at least go;

1st 96 points, 3 points for a win, 29 wins
2nd, 63 points, 2 points for a win, 28 wins

Etc. You can easily adjust the second to 91 points

I am doubtful they've adjusted it to take account of the old system tbh. Happy to be proved wrong.
