That was me simply stating what Soriano was suggesting, that a deal for Sanchez in Jan was very unlikely and prepared to wait until the summer.

The sarcasm being we could always just cover the wages he is owed between now and then.

Considering we're ready to spend 60-70mil on Sanchez in the summer, I would think that there's still some money left in the kitty. Sanchez for 30mil and Martinez for 28mil.
