What's being said?

All the guy who did the summary said he hadn't trained with Leicester and wasn't travelling for their game v Everton and this "may" be a sign that he might be signed tomorrow. But he's only making a guess or speculating.

A lot of it is about hitting home your superiority and demoralising the rest. It is very easy to think we have done well and this is a great season and to some degree that sense of achievement likely let United in with a sniff over Sanchez. Not apathy as such. We just felt no urgency to strengthen then.

Hopefully we learned from that and are seizing the chance to make everyone else chasing us to get deflated by how we take a knock and then just get up again and rise stronger from it.

That kills the expectation of others more than anything.

Someone posted earlier a jokey thing off the net about for God's sake don't flatten our players we will just go buy another.

That is not what has happened here but if that feeling is out there it makes my point about how this purchase would deflate the opposition.

That's where you're wrong. It's being completed tomorrow at 11.24am for £62.82 million plus free Etihad concert tickets for Taylor Swift in add ons and we will be announcing him at half time in the WBA game where he will play a rendition of Billy Joel's 'Piano Man' in the centre circle before flying out on a jetpack as fireworks go off and Oasis plays in the back ground.

FFS, read the thread.

;-)
You forgot to mention the two meat pies involved.

Don' get the give brahim and foden the game time, they are 17 and 18 and not ready for the big games we have coming up if we don't want to take any chances. They are great talents but give them time, none of the other u17 winners are getting regular games yet in vastly inferior teams so why should we so to pander to the masses

Sancho is 17 and started the last two league games for Dortmund because he is ready.

Good enough is old enough.

Cheers.

i think with the thuggery we're being exposed to and the shit referees its only a matter of time before Dave or KDB are nailed much to pogba's pleasure. I think Mahrez wud take some heat off them n certainly help out when the cowardly assassins succeed again

Wildly underestimating both Mahrez and our situation. Yes we can probably coast to the league title on what we have at present, even with an inevitable dip due to injuries but signing Mahrez allows us to go all out for an unprecedented four trophies. Whilst i dont think we will manage it personally, even with Mahrez, I don't think we will ever have such a strong chance again and effectively passing on the chance to save a few quid is absolute lunacy. There's potential never to be seen again history to be made this season, Txiki and pep seem to recognise this and will do everything to give us the best chance of making it happen.

Pep when asked about Mahrez: "I have interest in a lot of players. The window is open until the 31st. I've spoke many times with the club to see what is best with the players we have. We have just 3 strikers, with Raheem, for next month or month and ½. We have to find solutions."

This pursuit of Mahrez is yet more confirmation of how steely and single-minded we are these days. Pep won't settle for a single trophy less than he can possibly achieve.

When did pep say this?

He's actually started the last 3 and they've drawn against 11th, 12th and 13th.

That might be fine at Dortmund but that's not fine here, good enough is old enough but you have to be bloody good to come in and play at our level at the moment. Brahim and Foden have been managed just right this season. They've been given minutes at the top level surrounded by world class players and it's about gradually increasing that season upon season.

So, one player is too blame for all the poor results ?
Fuck me you don`t half spout some shite.Thankfully we have people at the club who clearly have better footballing knowledge than yourself.
Correct....anyone struggling to see what Mahrez brings doesn't really get Pep and the options he likes to have in his sometimes changing system and set up....and I'm all for giving kids a chance but only when they are ready
at the minute Foden and Diaz are only ready for cameo appearances, throwing them in now week in week out will do more harm to them than good....patience with young players is important and if anyone in world football knows how to use and treat young players it's Pep
