What time does the window close today guys
What time does the window close today guys
Kevin De Bruyne played central midfield at Genk and Fabian Delph played LB for Leeds.
Which by the way is fucking irrelevant because what you're saying is a oplayer can't play in the position he's spent his entire career in. It's the equicalent of "Fabian Delph can't play CM" " Kevin De Bruyne can't play as an attacking midfielder" Which is obviously bollocks.
Bernardo Silva has played his entire career out wide.
And by the way, I'm completely in favour of this transfer, but can't stand people being wilfully stupid to try and convince themselves we're in an untenable position without this (likely not to happen) transfer.
Sound like poetry for me... :

We have no fucking backup wingers
Bernado is not a fucking winger
Diaz is 18 and not a fucking winger
Foden is 17 and not a fucking winger
We have TWO fucking senior players for our attacking THREE fucking positions
Mahrez is the best available fucking winger in the Premier League
Some similar level fucking wingers are older and/or unavailable
Other similar fucking wingers are younger and/or inexperienced
Mahrez has won the fucking Premier League with fucking Leicester and got the fucking POTY
We are in 4 fucking competitions. That is potentially 27 fucking matches.
People want to play for 6 fucking weeks with ONE fucking winger.
Any chance of foxes letting Mahrez leave without replacement? Thinking of Arses in 2013 (van persie)?
Bang on. I personally don't think it will happen, as there's a whiff of the summer Sanchez deal about it. He'd be a cracking signing for any club, but as you've pointed out, he's extremely important to Leicester for the remainder of this season. It's a reasonable offer a certainly more acceptable, I just think the club have VVD money in their mind... £65m, £5m pretty much nailed on bonuses and wipe £5m off what we owe for Iheanacho... this is like playing football manager.
I think what people need to remember is that in our form we're chasing 6th and Europe. Mahrez is the difference between finishing 6th and 12th or lower for us. When you're talking about £2m+ per position, plus lack of Europe. Losing him now could potentially COST us £15-20m this season alone, let alone going forward.
It's not just about how good he is, it's about his worth to us.

And on Mahrez, City made Leicester pay over the odds to sign Iheanacho for £25m last summer, so that may be remembered today.
I think we'd ask for more money to take him. We're more than happy with Maguire and Dragovic, with Huth and Morgan as backup.

Is this guy reliable?
Don't forget the transfer window in England closes a day before the season starts in 2018 as well. Its hard doing deals in the summer because of the World Cup. Players get no time off and have to concentrate solely on training with the national team, they can’t really negotiate too much during as it’s seen as a distraction then when it’s over they usually go away and get extended holidays and miss the start of the season !
I love that we’re doing everything we can now to prepare for August and the new season
Pep said a few weeks ago we won't sign a number 9 we need 2 good players for each position Mahrez and Sane for left side
Wonder if that full transfer has been paid. If only half for instance the quotes of 55 -60 could in effect be 67 -72m with ourselves writing the debt off. Leicester get a higher fee City get the player for a what seems a "lower" fee.Mark OgdenVerified account @MarkOgden_
