I'm sure we're going to be ok in the end.Glad the lads are having a rest but am always waiting for the next game.
The pisscan didn't dub it "squeeky bum time" for nothing.
It's only natural to be a bit apprehensive.

I'll tell what makes it worse in my eyes. It's that those twats are in second place with no one putting any real pressure on them. If it was almost anyone else then I wouldn't be quite as bothered but the thought of them catching us up makes me feel nauseous.
You know what, it's that that makes us different to most fanbases. We, most of us, never count our chickens because we know all too well how quickly things can turn on their head. Past experience will always shape and colour our thinking. It might stop us turning raggy for a bit longer.Yep, that's how I feel about the whole thing.
Terrified of the team bottling it at the expense of those red bastards.
I keep trying to repeat 'This isn't the City I grew up with, it isn't Alan Ball or Joe Royle, it isn't even Mancini: It's Pep Guardiola in charge of us.' But There's still that lingering Typical City-ness that I don't think we'll ever quite scrub off. Like if any Club in the world could fuck it up from here it would be us!
I am the same I guess we are a similar vintage. I also dread us winning the league and that shower of shite scabbing the CL to take the gloss off it.
It’s because you’re a bloody wet wipe.I'm not quite sure why.
For me the Sane injury changed our season. Plus not being able to strengthen in January. Tremendous pressure on the Leicester game and we need to put this to bed early. I can really see this going down to the last two games now. Hoping the rest does the lads good and we are back up to speed. We really need David for this one. The two Arse games could define our season and never like playing them. Need to really get behind the lads on Saturday and get the three points which will take a little bit of the pressure of. Let’s do it!
I put this into a spreadsheet and update it after every game. The "winning margin" has increased to 8 points in the two and a half weeks since GX Blue posted this. It is a very pessimistic view of results, which I like because I am pessimistic myself. Today for example, there was no adverse affect on the outcome because an away draw for us was predicted.
Football is like nothing else in the world.....never In a million years before September '17 would I expect to see winning the CL linked to the importance of Delph. We will definitely not bottle it in terms of the league. But it's a tall order to bring home the CL without the return of Jesus, Sane and Delph.....
I don't buy this superior goal difference malarkey. If we lose and they win the goal difference changes. If they were to catch us up points wise, by default the goal difference would level up a lot.
I think we win the title by half a dozen points.
As for this weekend the pessimist in me says they up their game following our failed attempt at mahrez.
80 points will probably do it as United are predicted to get 79

We are on course to win it against them.
I can see them getting to 85 but that would include beating us on our home patch.
A couple of 4 nil walkovers where lukaku looks like Pele and a couple of defeats for us would reduce the goal difference quite quickly. We won it on goal difference and in dramatic fashion.
Of course goal difference matters and with a 22 goal swing you would need a five swing per point differential to be on roughly level terms.
the 13 point lead is effectively 14 because they won't make up 22 goal in 5 games least of all 12.
