Why is there no middle ground with Carlton ? He goes form shite to world class in ninety minutes according to the media , i watched the Rags v Chavs game and Pogba did nothing , absolutely nothing of any consequence , no assist , no shots , no chances created , his new haircut was nice though , but thats about it.

err - he cost a fortune and plays for the rags therefore its open season on him thank god - the downs are far deeper and far more often than the good though lol

Don't we play an international towards the end of next month.......... McTominay for a first England cap - the offer will be out there as he has made the mandatory - he has made more than the mandatory 5 starts for the rags now that automatically gets calls for and if possible the granting of an England cap doesn't it?

Soon followed by a loan spell at MK Dons
I think he’s going to opt to play for Scotland

He should be careful. It works if you are the Family Man and stay there for a thousand years then you can play for a lesser nation but if you want international longevity you need to play for England - though to be fair the way things are up there if he opts for Scotland he could be manager never mind player by next week

They will slate him as a last resort when algorithms say posting bad stories about him say it will get them more clicks than a positive one. You may take that as a pissy of the cuff slap dash insult but it is actually how this works these days sadly. Very few reporters always go with their gut and what they see, or more to the point have the license to! Articles are sanitized and obscured, manipulated and dressed up.

The Pogba saga brings every ugly facet of modern football economics into play and deep down we all know this, i say that last bit mainly to utd fans that read here. I do not mean it as a slur at all, i just read redcafe and they are so seemingly desperate to adore him that one average pass sees him instantly as good as De Bruyne. The fact he has been doing the bare basics at absolute best for his time with them (and that being kind by averaging his performances out) is quickly dismissed.

Nothing against internet fans as such at all, it is simply the willingness to suspend disbelief for reality and not a hollywood blockbuster i find rather weird.

The new Carlton Zidane Cleverly
Love how he describes himself as fearless but says he needs to stay humble in his next sentence, the new Cleverley, he'll be talking about giving out footballing lessons next, on his way to Everton then Watford obviously.
They’ll probably call him ‘The White Pele’ or something as equally absurd!
Ah, he’s the next product of the young **** Conveyor belt?
I’m sure with rolemodels like Pogba and Lingard He’ll turn into another world class youth proudct

Honest question about City, which I'm sure has been asked/answered countless of times over the years:

Why did ADUG decide to acquire Manchester City out of all possible clubs in England? Wouldn't Aston Villa or Leeds United make more sense based on market/potential fan base?

Also.

Also the fact that Manchester United are recognisable worldwide. I think they hoped people wouldn’t notice the one word difference.

Sheikh Mansour fancied the idea of a Manchester club, rather than one from just outside.
Also he loves us!

Think it is naive not to realise that the Manchester name would have been important. Of course it was. No big deal, Newton Heath changed their name for the same reason a century earlier.

Their brains (or at least a sizeable number of them) still can’t process what has happened this last decade - and why. It’s the same lack of imagination that glibly uses words like ‘always’ and ‘never’ when talking about different clubs and their place in the footballing food-chain.

It’s also worth highlighting that only once this century have Villa had an average home attendance that was bigger than ours, and they have won the League and FA Cup once each in the last 98 years. That almost deserves a banner.
