They wouldn't, raggy delusion would kick in. They would start with the narrative that all their players are just as good as ours and there wont be much between the two sides. Then after the beating go back to slurs about oil money, human rights, performance enhancing drug and how they are falling out of love with the commercialism of the game.

I think you will have captured most of their fans in there, but the ones with a sense of realism would be shitting themselves at the thought of meeting us. I'd go the other way. Kill the crap in the media. Besides, i'd quite like Liverpool to beat them first because that will annoy them.

Id like us needing to win the game then blow them away in rampant fashion, a mix of how we played against Stoke earlier on in the season with the goals we scored last night. Should be a fantastic occasion putting their limp dicked over paid football team to bed and laying down a marker to them that this must be the standard you have to be to take the trophy off us next season. Will send the raggy players off into the summer with their heads down dreading preseason and whats coming in August.

The hysteria surrounding the Derby in December shows what a deluded group of people they are, they keep trotting out the line that it was a close game and it was a hardly a hammering. The whole world saw that they wanted to protect themselves from a bloody nose and got beat anyway playing their brand of cowards football.

The media praise for our 'beautiful' football has riled them up, especially as their football is static and boring. Have to admire his confidence or rather delusion, I would be dreading if I were him.
I would prefer to win it beforehand.
Derby's are stressful enough as it is without the thought they could delay us winning the league.
Win it beforehand and they would have to give us a guard of honour (if they don't then they show how classless they are)
We get to play/watch stress free as it's already sewn up.
