She said with an arsy attitude "don't call me darling" She was confrontational and it wasn't necessary especially when I add the guy on the phone didn't really have a clue.
No she didn't. So do yourself a favour and stop repeating this bullshit because no matter how often you repeat it it doesn't make it true.
Maybe go back and re-listen to what she actually said.
She actually said 'you don't need to call me darling' and the guy didn't take the hint and reverted back to 'love' which wasn't exactly said as a term of endearment.
So she terminated the call after giving the reason why, so how is that confrontational? If anything she removed herself from any possible confrontation.
Also, even though it may be her work place why does she any obligation to talk to someone who won't extend her the courtesy of being pleasant and speaking to her without being condescending? Is it in her contract that she must listen to everyone who calls in?
