The Sanchez saga is brilliant for us. It sucks plenty of money from their wage budget which could have been put to better use. Nobody will pay him those wages, so he is there for the long run. Even if he tries to do a Rooney and move to his boyhood club, they will still have to pay part of his wages.
It also is a good warning for other players that City while offering good money, offer even better footballing reasons to join. Better to make your own history rather than sign for a club that is history...

i think he wanted the city move but had no choice to take double bubble money and like everybody we would have took the money as well when your family comes first. its life and sometimes you don't get the offer like united put up. maybe if he was younger it and still finding his way in the game the city offer would have been right but modern footballers are greedy and want money over medals first

you can see it in his game at united the pressure of being the big money wage at the club and the others are now questioning it. you must hit the ground running and show what all the fuzz is about. but its gone the other way he has upset the rest pogba wants out or more money to keep him happy and the rest will follow its not worked for both parties

I don’t know what we offered him, but it would probably have been more than enough that, if managed properly, would have kept him and his family more than comfortable for the rest of his life.
