I don't think the club knew people would be throwing things at the coach. That was random.

Also I do think you guys are over exaggerating the incident.
No one on YOUR side was hurt.
It wasnt pretty.
So your bus was thrown at with cans and bottles. but come on theres no need to cry a river about it. The real shameful stuff going on here is Pep making an analogy to the bomb attack on the Dortmund bus, after blaming random Anfield employees...

As i thought, not interested in actually listening to what you are being told and instead you try to turn it and blame us.

Enjoy RAWK and no doubt laughing about how you threw bricks at a bus.

Fucking wanker.

True colours shown. Typical red scouse scum ****.

Their cult followers really are the pit's aren't they? They have actually done the impossible and got ourselves and the rags unified in our mutual loathing of all things LFC. A despicable, delusional hypocritical pile of steaming shite. May they stay unsuccessful forever.

The families and friends aside, neither Munich nor Hillsborough are no longer tragedies that have affected the club imo and instead have become a marketing managers dream to be milked financially at every opportunity and it is that sole reason why both are continually rammed down our throats at any and every opportunity as the need to keep both in the public domain and high profile for financial gain is all that seems to matter to both clubs.

I dont see the same behaviour from Rangers or Bradford which backs up my thoughts imo.
Therein lies the great dichotomy. The marketing departments shamelessly exploit and perpetuate tragedy, knowing that it is seen as shameful taboo to criticise them for it. In my mind, the achievements and dignity of the Hillsborough families are completely undermined by the constant and wilful mawkishness of the club. It's akin to the Welsh tourist board saying, "Visit Wales, home of the Aberfan tragedy".

You are fucking joking?

The plan to give the City coach a hostile reception was doing the rounds almost from the time the draw was made.

And your shithouse of a club, instead of ensuring that there would be no problems for us, published the change of route hours before the coach would be making its way to Klanfield.

Liverpool FC is as guilty as the wankers who threw the missiles.

Absolutely. No issue whatsoever with the club marking the anniversary with a silence or even a in house service for the families but that aside, it's time to move on and to stop asking football in general to continually mourn and grieve over something a vast majority, whilst mindful of what happened, dont really care about anymore.

Sky and BT etc also have a part to play as they continually ram it down everyone's throats.

I must say, this is something I've always found a bit odd. Maybe it's just the yank in me, but the fact that they honor the victims of a disaster that happened so long ago every single year with something huge just seems so odd. The same with the Munich Air Disaster. I get it, those were awful days for the club and its fans, but I would think after a while it becomes something you have an event or moment for every 5 or 10 years, with maybe a public statement and only that on each anniversary. The more time goes on the less fans identify with those tragedies as they never experienced them. Just my two cents.

Edit: The clubs have the right to do that, but the disasters do always get a ton of media attention for things that happened 30 and 60 years ago.

Can I have your expert opinion on the Heysel Stadium incident in 1985?

For a start and given you are on the biggest City from in the world, take on board some of the sensibly written criticism of your supporters, club and police for the bus greeting that should have been avoided and never been allowed to take place.

Of course not every Liverpool fan is an idiot or condones what went on but many thousands did turn up for it and a sizable enough number of them committed criminal acts that evening and you got lucky as a club that no one on the bus got injured because the behaviour of many that night could well have ended in the injury or worse for those on board.

Yes Klopp apologised and yes the club also apologised but this thread and City fans knew what would happen but in the lead up to the game, instead of those concerns being listened to, your fans, club, manager and even Merseyside police ignored them and instead of calling for order and calm instead stoked the fires up demanding a hostile reception and im afraid saying sorry afterwards just doesn't cut it for many of us.

To laugh or dismiss that night off and other incidents like many of your supporter base have is not on im afraid and until you actually realise the damage it has caused and will continue to cause im afraid the stick you and others get will not stop.

Dude you may as well speak to a wall, don’t waste your time replying. The guy is obviously deluded and a typical “it wasn’t our fault boss” scouser. I don’t even waste my breath with the scousers at work when it comes to the dippers.
Has he been banned yet for being a prick by the way?

What can i do ?
I have no cotnrol over what the club does or doesn't do.
Klopp even stated for those "idiots to be banned".
To be honest, most of the time the fans are well behaved.

So, in summary, you are saying that it isn't your fault. Well who would have guessed.

"What can I do" you ask, rhetorically. You ask rhetorically because it is obvious that you yourself think the answer is that you can't do anything. So lets have a look at what you have tried to do. Have you for instance called out these people on Rawk or any other Liverpool forum? Have you sent your footage of the missile attack to the police if you were there? Have you written to Merseyside police to complain about the lack of arrests while Merseyside police officers watched criminal acts being committed and did nothing to stop them? Did you say before the attack that it would be completely out of order for the bus to be attacked? Did you complain that the messages doing the rounds on social media before the game were obvious incitements to attack City's team coach? Have you said on any forum or platform that the people whose attach left the City coach unsafe to drive have no place amongst Liverpool supporters? Have you asked the club to take action against the supporters that attacked an opposition team coach? Have you said to the club that there is a sizeable number of LFC fans whose disgusting behaviour is something you no longer wish to tolerate, and it is high time they were rooted out?

You see, these are the sorts of things you and many many other LFC supporters would have done, if you actually wanted your club to get rid of the feral scum element of its support. If that's what you wanted, you would have made the club aware of the fact that that's what you want them to do. And all the other decent LFC fans out there would have done the same thing, because if the club realise that a large number of its own fans have had enough, it might actually do something about it. The more people complain about something, the more likely it is that something will get done.

But you haven't. Neither you personally nor LFC nor its supporter base generally has actually lifted a fucking finger to rid the club of the nasty sizeable criminal element of its support or to bring to justice those who thought throwing missiles at a coach was an acceptable way to behave. And you never will. So in a few months time, you will be back here bleating that the latest atrocity featuring Liverpool fans, because there will be another one sooner or later, isn't actually that bad, or the club has apologised so we should all just move on, or it wasn't actually that bad and people shouldn't exaggerate, or it simply isn't your fault.

Because that's what you do, isn't it?

What a great post and I’m jealous that I couldn’t put it better. Fair play to you.

We can stand around at 5pm on a weekday to launch cans if beer at a coach.

They have to get up for work in the morning.

I have ask merseyside police and Lfc twice now , how many people have been arrested over the coach incident , not one reply .
I wrote to the Mayor of greater Manchester last weekend asking him to speak to the Mayor of liverpool and the chief constable of Merseyside Police
