Why would you think that?

They didn't learn from anything else that the 'few idiots' that seem to follow you have done over the last 35 years - like dropping concrete slabs on the heads of local waiters for instance - why should this particular example of sub-human behaviour be any different?

here for instance is a report that references a United team bus being attacked in 1986, with Ammonia being sprayed into people's faces.

https://www.independent.co.uk/sport...l-bitter-rivals-share-a-respect-a6921956.html

Did you learn from that? Doesn't look like it from where we are sitting.

Here's another report from 2006 that records the time when your 'few idiots' attacked an ambulance taking a United player to hospital.

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2006/feb/23/newsstory.sport1

That 'few idiots' that follow you around really do get around don't they? Its almost as if there's actually a sizeable element of your support that consists of subhuman scum and the rest of you just minimise it every time it rears its very ugly head.

So what basis do you have for even hoping that lessons have been learned? Have there been any arrests? Have there been widespread repeats of the public requests for people who were there to supply the police with footage recorded on mobile phones? Because from what we can see there has been a pretty big attempt to sweep the whole thing under the carpet and pretend it didn't happen.

Which is pretty much par for the course for your club, isn't it?

Excellent- I have needed something like this for a week

Thank you

John Aldridge thinks one manager in the Premier League has done as well, if not better than pep this season. You'll never guess who it is. Seriously, you will be absolutely stunned.

It's Jurgen Klopp

The absolute saddest thing about it is they seriously believe all that shit, they really do.

That's the thing our this is our city one is similar, but we mainly are indiferent to it, some love it, some find it cringy most don't even register it after it's played

but this they lap up as part of the mythology and klopp reciting it has them all excited.
Those final limes as quoted by moores ffs sad ****s

Yes I cringe at that video myself. They don't realise walk on wasn't written for them they just adopted it, like we did blue moon. Years ago nearly every club sang walk on as well, including ourselves.

Their ground, their "This is Anfield" sign, their kop it may be special to them but it means fuck all to other fan's.

the Kop being theirs gets me , fuck off there is 100's all round the country

In the Klopp rendition the line " at the end of a shift" made me laugh - like any of them has ever worked a shift anywhere lol

That is all in all a cringey ode to 'istree - all in all that fails to address early exits from domestic cups and miles adrift in the league with one final hopeful punt at the CL.........Somehow that seems to be labelled a successful season over there?

What made me laugh was all these student dipper fans harping on about "istry and experience la... they don't know it like we do and that gives us de edge la" via social media, when half of them haven't even lived through the history worth mentioning. It was all bullshit to convince themselves more than anyone else. In fact if they are around the age of 18-22 or so as most of them are that means in their lifetimes City have been more of CL club. When you think about it, it's really only the last 10 years they will remember properly as a football fan or have had the mental capacity to appreciate the game of football properly. Having said that, by the looks of it some don't even have that capacity even now.

Also in what way does today's Liverpool have more experience in the CL as they tried to make out?

Does the current ownership have more experience than City's?
Does the current manager have more experience than City's?
Does the current squad have more experience than City's?
Do the modern fans have more experience than City's?

The answer is a big fat NO for every one of the above, one of the arguments most gave for Milner starting was his experience he gained at City in the CL.

This hits the nail on the head. They have always had a problem. We got a friendly welcome before and after the match from Spurs fans last Saturday. Away at Spurs used to be toxic. Liverpool fans need to clean out the scum from their fanbase (to be fair many of them are locals who can't afford to attend matches but still like to goad away fans)

Don't think there is any chance of what you are suggesting although I agree the sentiment.

They are a scummy feral set who believe that they are always the injured party. Living on past glories ( which is a fantastic record ) but totally failing to accept the truth about their current status.

After their behaviour and gloating over the last couple of weeks, I hope that they get embarrassed in football terms and their fans get met with the same treatment from the Roma ultras as they dished out to City fans.

The club and Merseyside police need to be severely reprimanded too for their part.
