Newcastle,Stoke, Sunderland and the rags are his best know games but one of my favourites was Fulham at home in 2014 when we won 5-0 he he scored a hat trick. I have never seen just one player be so dominant against a side. He absolutely battered them on his own. And his hat trick goal was superb. 25 yard curler into the bottom corner

Thanks for the memories Yaya

Everyone on here has captured my feelings exactly: One of the best to ever play for our club and to play in England. There through our club's rise to prominence and an integral part of City's modern success story which will, ultimately, be a massive part of our history. So many memories. Thanks big man.

One of the greatest players to play in this league, absolutely untouchable in the 13-14 season. Will be sadly missed, lets give him a great send off next Wednesday.
Would be a nice touch for him to lift the trophy with Vinny on Sunday.

Still got the touch and the vision as his chip into the box for Jesus's goal showed against Swansea, just a shame time has caught up with him. Don't forget also Gary Cook said he was the one big name when we were trying to attract players that came for the project and not just the money.

One of the best players I have see in a city shirt. In his prime there was no one better. He deserves a great send off.

That’s one of the goals and performances that came to my mind as well. I was sat in the South Stand behind Yaya and thought that’s going wide when it swerved back in past the keeper at the last millisecond. A rolls Royce of a player, great passer and finisher, technically outstanding, and just as important as that, he always demands the ball in the big games and doesn’t go hiding.

I'm 20 minutes into that video and it just makes you laugh at anyone who's ever been called "the next Yaya" or even compared to him.

I've never seen any player like him, he had the dribbling ability of a winger, the build of a CB, the vision of a number 10, the finishing of a striker and the control and passing of a world class holding midfielder.

Completely and utterly unique.

We all knew this was coming, but the official announcement has still left me feeling quite sad.

Me too. I still think he's our most important signing ever. I'm 100% sure of that.

Captains armband on Wednesday and a goal and I'll be happy has fuck :).

Thanks for the memories, Big Man.

It’s been a roller coaster but you will always have a welcome and you’ve been a huge part of where we are

Always said that if he hadn't got injured at the end of the 1st half we'd never have had the Aguero moment. We'd have battered QPR in the second half and it would never have been in any doubt.

Mad that this was obvious but now it's official I'm quite upset. I'll be in fucking tears when Vinny and Dave go.

Definitely in top 4 best ever midfielders City has had ever since I supported them. And so important in where we are now. Deserves one of the biggest goodbyes when we play Brighton. I will always remember him and especially his first season under Pellegrini. Big thank you to the big man.

The semi finals goal against the scum and then the winner against Stoke really showed me that this was the guy who was gonna propel us upwards. As has been said many times and already in this thread, a real Rolls-Royce of a player.
