Who Will Pose A Threat Next Season

The referees will pose a threat. They have done more to try and equalize our dominance than anyone else.

Beyond us retaining the hunger to dominate like we have this season this is what worries me most. Even the idea in the back of a refs mind that the playing field needs evening up a little could swing plenty of results against us.

I think all the teams below us will get stronger apart from the rags, I'm expecting another Mourinho third season meltdown.

Chelsea will be the main threat and rags, scousers, despite the media hysteria will stay inconsistent and salah probably won't repeat this season.
Spurs are bottlers and arsenal are rebuilding

Our biggest thret though will be resting on our laurels, but I doubt Pep will let that happen

Chelsea should be up there next year, United will spend big again, Spurs if they keep Kane/Alli/Eriksson, I'm not sure Liverpool will ever challenge fully for a title, never seem to be arsed against lesser teams who sit back, drew with Burnley, WBA etc. dark horses are Everton, depending if they keep or get rid of Allerdyce, spend more money on top of the £150m they spent this season.

Not read the thread but our biggest concern in my opinion....
The fucking officials..Alty Taylor.. Bent Bobby Madley..Fatty Moss..Dean and the rest of the tossers

Our biggest threat is:

1.Manchester City

If we play with hungry, desire, and focus nobody can stop us not even the officials.

We should be even better next season with Mendy back plus a new DM and attacker.

Everton are very dark horses. You'll be a genius if you have called that one.

The dippers unfortunately will be better as they have keita definitely coming and now sounds like they are getting fekir as well

Don't mean for the title, but that 4th/5th spot I could see, a core of Pickford, Coleman, Keane, Holgate, Bolasie and Tosun, not as bad as a lot of other teams, no worse than Burnley certainly, although they would have to make up 20 points next year, but if they're ambitious enough why not? a few signings, they have the money. All depends if Allerdyce stays, can't see them ever going above 8th if he stays, need to get that Fonseca from Shakhtar

Can't believe so many are worried about the dippers just because they are getting 1 player in,we'll all buy,the teams outside the top 4 usually have the time to prepare and rest so those teams,i fancy the chavs if not us as they will have no CL and the new manager bounce

Frankly, if we manage to get a genuine quality holding midfielder (Jorginho?) and – whisper it – M'Bappé, it's difficutl to see anyone putting in a huge challenge, unless we fall into complacency (and Pep doesn't do complacency, he was miffed about us not beating Huddersfield, and you could see it). There still are so many of our players with a considerable margin for improvement: Stones, Laporte, Ederson, Mendy, Sterling, Jesus, Sané. Diaz and Foden to play a bigger role, maybe, Maffeo to come back? It's just frightening…
