If the sleeves are actually that dark. I don't get it. Nobody wants that!
AC Milan prominently display the flag of St George on their badge.
It's not absurd at all.
In Catalonia, the Spanish flag is considered by many to be associated with fascism, so they don't want that associated with the club. Exactly the same reason many City fans don't want a Union Jack or flag of St George on the shirt.
I've got no problem with the England flag, I just don't want it on a City shirt. It never has been, isn't going to be and probably never will be, so I don't really understand why you're even arsed.
The difference is we are still English. Barcelona do not believe they are Spanish, so why would they have a Spanish Flag.
I don't care whether we have an English flag on our shirt or not. I just don't understand people who really do not want it there as if they're ashamed of it.
Either way the shoulders are darker than the body of the shirt, like last year’s kit, though perhaps not as pronounced.
The weave pattern would have been much better as a very subtle embossing on the same sky blue on the sleeves, like the example below.

Hello, is this the right place for an argument about whether something that probably isn't on the shirt shouldn't be on the shirt. If it is I think we shouldn't have Daffodils on a City shirt.
I agree. This collar looks so much better than that single button one. The navy blue accents around the neck would go nicely with the navy socks! Hope this is more like the real one than that button one doing the rounds ...
If that is the actual shirt, it is ****ing awful. That is actually worse than last year’s, and I didn’t think that was possible.
I’ll only be buying that if we win the quadruple.
THE GOLDEN PREMIER LEAGUE BADGE is the only thing that is going to make this top
Do you know if that latest Footyheadlines one is close to, if not on, the mark?Fwiw, the club aren't happy with Nike at all. They actually told us we'd have unique shirts when we signed up. All this stuff about us being a priority... which turned out to be bollocks. Then they've delivered all the kits late with no time for changes, conveniently. They're ridiculously hard to work with apparently. I suspect Puma will really want to impress so it should be much better. Fuck Nike man.
It's nice to know the club dislike them too.

Our top class negotiation team should have had this stuff written down in the contract.... pretty basic really.Fwiw, the club aren't happy with Nike at all. No experience of their shirts but I do like their running socksCalling @Lonsdale Blue to confirm this.
That’s fine and good to know. Thanks for sharing. However, we’ve been burned more than once with Nike so some of the wank ideas must have been ok’d by the club.Fwiw, the club aren't happy with Nike at all. The questions is: are they sky blue, white, navy blue, or very, very, very dark blue?No experience of their shirts but I do like their running socks
will the club be prepared to sit down with fans over the summer and actually discuss what we're going to do going forward under a new manufacturer to ensure we get a consistent identity?
I always get the cheapest ones - normally have bright yellow. Not the best looking but saves me from getting run over at night. The questions is: are they sky blue, white, navy blue, or very, very, very dark blue?
