Breaking records/stats thread

Need to score 3 against Southampton to take the best all-time top-flight City league goals record and score 4 to take all-time City league goals record (any division).
 
How good does it feel to be able call us “the best premier league team ever”

And watch rags / scousers etc quietly seeth cos they know we have the facts to back it up

We actually broke thls one some time ago as the previous record was 69 (Liverpool - 1978-79 Old Div 1) then 71 (Chelsea 2009-10)

Technically we haven't broken it yet - Southampton might beat us 7-0. The current stat I like is that our goal difference is twice United's...

We have now also moved into 2nd place in the all-time 3 points for a win points total, and 3rd place for rhe all-time 2 points for a win points total.

Lines
Duck egg green = Early league seasons
Green = Old Division One 42 games
Skyish blue = Premier League

Where in each column:
Amber = record in category
Yellow = second in category
Lemon = third in the category

GPG = Goals per Game.
GD = Goal Difference
GA = Goal Average
W% = Win %
P2 = Points if 2 points for a win
P3 = Points if 3 points for a win
P% = Possible Points %

Not quite....the land yes the World 4th best....though briefly we hit 2nd after we beat Chelsea at the Etihad (which was our highest ever since MCFC was formed)

We could end up 3rd as we have equal points rating with Bayern.

So, what records are still up for grabs going into the last game?
As far as I can see
Biggest goal difference - record 71 currently 78 - prospects, a shoe in
Biggest margin - record 18 points, currently 20 with Utd playing tonight - prospects unlikley
Away wins - record 15, currently 15 - prospects, now that Soton are safe, a reasonable chance to get this 16th
Away goals - record 48, currently 44, prospects, you never know!
I don't know about any others, maybe biggest away goal difference? Currently 31
