He's a bottom of the league player though.Don't think Bravo would fancy being in a mid table teams.

i'm sure you said mahrez is more productive so stats is a reasonable requestIm not saying he isnt...and i actually said i think Sane will become even better but mahrez has th experience and Sane is inconsistent like all young players....mahrez will be great competition for Sane and there is little to choose between them so no drop off in performane no matter who plays

No not really as we would be improving on a player with a better player. The only way I see him coming in is if we ship a player out. Also can I ask Do you think reinforcing his position is more important that having back up to Ferna?
Haha i would name my son Pep if we sign Hazard.Correct. Hazard isn't of the same quality as Mahrez ;-)
So who would you drop for Mahrez from the automatic first team players?
We don't have automatic first team players.
Me too!Haha i would name my son Pep if we sign Hazard.
Your argument was that £75m was too much for a player who wont improve the squad (IIRC) and reading this thread, you would appear to be in a small minority.
We will ship players out if we can but I dont think Gundog will be one of them.
Clearly we need cover for Ferna and I'm not sure what point you are trying to make as we are addressing that too are we not?
Same. People will be shocked at how good he’ll be in this teamI can see him reaching Kevin levels of improvement under Pep
Big callI can see him reaching Kevin levels of improvement under Pep
You seem to forget I am just as entitled to my view as you or anyone else on this forum. I do respect your view i just have a different opinion. Regardless of what you think I still think its too much money for someone that wont improve the first team . And unless hes coming in for Gundog who will offset some of the cost i think hes a luxury in a position where have several options already. He also had a poor attitude last season and for me that counts against him a little. I read these threads and some fans think we can spend whatever we want on whoever we want, not necessarily you by the way. Be it Isco, Mbappe, Hazard, Naymar or Mahrez. Maybe I'm a little old fashioned and a tad more reserved than some? In conclusion I think Pep has done a fantastic job, but we all know with the benefit of hindsight more often, he does make one or two errors in the transfer market.
You remake your point as to that you dont think he will improve the first team - why is that?
Q. Are you of the opinion that there is a firm first team and the rest are squad members to come on as subs?
Excuse me...
I haven't given an opinion.
I asked you a question which you didn't answer.

That's fine if you think that and not many would argue, but he has better qualities in some areas than Sane & Sterling and therefore imo, will improve us.I don't think he's any better than David Silva or KDB or Sterling or Sane. All of which have had more starts than Bernado Silva and Gundog. I know what you are saying about squad rotation but i think its pretty clear think Pep has players he rates above others in the creative midfield area.

You never answered my question regarding a fixed starting 11
Gonna go out on a limb here... but for 75M pounds, Mahrez sure as hell better be one of the "players that Pep prefers over others."We don't have a fixed starting 11 but we certainly have players that Pep prefers over others.
Big call
