Sterling’s contract - three year extension confirmed

Don’t worry, I got the same abuse when for probably the past year or more I called Yaya out on being the absolute bell end that he is. Now he is the most hated man on here.....

Ignore the haters, I agree with your view. The real Sterling, the one who is not greatly benefited by a near perfect system, will be seen at the World Cup, the Sterling who hasn’t scored for 3 years for England and the one who bottled it against Iceland

So saying Sterling is not as good as Mbappe or De Bruyne is wumming now? Fml he isn’t Messi for goodness sake. If he wants a wage that he doesn’t deserve then let him go as there are players out there who can replace him
No, saying he's on the level of Rashford is wumming. Sterling has just done more in a season than Rashford has managed in his career.

The point is he does play for us, whether in a near perfect system or not. His worth to us, is his worth within that system, not in some other fucked up system Southgate is trying to implement

Because Sterling is playing in a near perfect team whereas Rashford plays under a negative manager. Rashford does far more for England than Sterling does. Look I’m not saying one is better than another but to say that they aren’t on a similar level is pure biasness

No I wouldn’t because they play in different positions to Sterling and Sterling is used to the system. All I said was that Mbappe is better than Sterling, what’s the matter with that

It wasn't the Mbappe thing I took issue with ( I haven't seen enough of Mbappe), it's the inference that Rashford and Lingard are Sterling's equal.

Oh the irony!

I have no problem keeping him if he wants to stay but if he is only concerned about the money and fame has gone to his head then let him go. The team wouldn’t miss him in the long team as opposed to losing a kdb.

Rashford hasn't actually done anything for England, he's scored 1 goal in competitive fixtures. Sterling was just one of the star players in a record breaking premier league side that finished 19 points ahead of a team that Rashford couldn't get a starting spot in. I don't see how you can claim they're on a similar level either for club or country unless you're either on the wum, just completely and utterly clueless about the sport, or extremely biased against Sterling.

Yet he’s competing with him for a spot for England?
England has fuck all to do with it,it's who you play for not what you can do that gets you playing,as has been pointed out raz did more in goals and assists than rashford has done his whole career, this is raz signing for us not england.you are wumming or swallowing what sky and the rest of the chinese whispers about him not signing because he is greedy and/or fame has gone to his head,no-one on here knows what is really going on,we are talking city NOT england

You’ve completely ignored the point that I made. If Rashford was here he would get many goals too because of the system. If you put Sterling in the rags he’d look out of place too. That’s not Sterling or Rashford’s fault but the managers they play under.

If Rashford was here, which 2 of Aguero, Jesus, Sané and Bernardo Silva would you drop to play him?

Because Sterling plays under a much better manager in a much better team, how hard is that to understand? I referenced England because that’s the only way to assess how good they are in an equal playing field and for them there’s not a lot between them if anything.

You really are confusing me now. You have in the past said that you didn’t want kdb to come to City as it would mean Sterling and Silver would have to play in positions not suited to them. That was when Sterling wasn’t producing for City what he’s producing nowadays and I would suggest they all play rather well together.

Sod talking about Sterling playing for England, he plays for us and that’s what counts for most of us.
