Roberts going the other way is the hold up ??
Now we know the reason....maybe likes it a bit too much at Celtic

I thought we always done things as two separate deals?

You know it’s not imminent as the club photographer is away.
On Instagram, Victoria Hayden is in Sicily on holiday so just follow her to see when she’s back at work and you’ll all know a deal could be close.
Kelly O’Donnell, the CityTV presenter, usually does the interviews too. I’m not sure if she’s away as I don’t follow her on Social media as I find her highly irritating.
So we can't close a deal out as the official photographer is away on holiday? I somehow I doubt that personally.
Foxes fans seem to think that we want to put a buy-back clause into it for Roberts. No idea whether there's any truth to that rumour but, frankly, it wouldn't shock me if Leicester were reticent.

I think we might aswell let Roberts go. Sending him to Celtic im the scottish pub league was a bad move by the club he's wasted two years of his career and still they have no idea really whether he can cut it at PL level. His value hasn't gone up more likely down.that seems plausible
I think you'll find that most level headed posters on here would agree with you on that. It was a truly phenomenal season. Only 14 points dropped. I remember a time when that many would be gone in the first 7 or 8 games of a season, never mind 38!
City didn’t want him to go last year, so hardly the club’s fault, not that you care.I think we might aswell let Roberts go. Harsh. I think the scottish league is a great place for players to develop, lower level like loans to holland, belgium etc but more similar to the english game. So long as they go to one of the top sides they also get a crack at european football and with 3 domestic competitions as well there should be plenty of minutes. No language barrier (well...) either which I'm sure helps.
Its a shame he wanted to go back this year but understandable at the end of the day and then its a shame for everyone involved that he picked up a bad injury and couldn't get back in. Not a bad move by the club at all, just played out less than ideal.
Mauritius? Didn't think Celtic would be starting qualification this fucking early.Isn't Roberts in Mauritius at the moment? I'm sure he won't be making a decision until he's back.
Sorry but I dissagree, it's a poor league and although players may improve its very hard to judge how good they are. Look at Scott Sinclair, he looks like a world beater up there but was no great shakes in the PL.
You may dissagree but its a daft point to make because its almost impossible to rate how players will perform coming from any league. All I ever hear is 'yeah but its the eriedivisie/primera/ligue1/championship'. The scottish league has its success stories and its failures just like any other. Last I checked VVD was doing okay.
