Yes there are you’re right, I hope you don’t mean me though. I seldom give him credit, only have done on a couple of occasions.

There are people who wouldn’t give him credit for anything, even if he made a master stroke (not that I mean this is necessarily) they’d still say the opposite.

I'll give him credit - The day he stands up and says "I've been lying and cheating for years and for that I am eternally sorry. I desrve to be punished".

It’s a fair point. I think overall he does deserve credit for getting to the point with the fat little maniac (the Asian one) where we’re not talking about a very brutal and needless war, which has been hovering for a long long time... but I perfectly understand your scepticism.

I think we just just agree to ever-so-slightly disagree for now and see how it plays out.

As I said before, we were only talking about nuclear war due to Trump’s rhetoric so giving him credit for changing from escalation to appeasement doesn’t wash with me.

As Trump would say, we’ll see what happens but I doubt that what really happens will bear any relationship to what Trump will say has happened.

Tensions flared certainly under Trump but war in the Koreas has never strayed too far from western thoughts for decades and we all know it would have been a very bad one too.
 
The Israeli’s have circulated a report to embassy staff critiquing the summit. They state that the US retreated from several of its hard line positions on NK nuclear weapons and also doubt that Kim has any intention of conceding any meaningful ground.
 
US officials have chosen the first site for the concentration camp that will host migrant children separated from their parents.

One tactic to separate children from their parents is to offer to take the children for a ‘shower’.

I’m sure this will end well.

That’s just silly though, give discredit where it’s due and credit where it’s due.

You can make an overall opinion on someone but to dismiss positive acts doesn’t help.

I don’t like him at all but if he cures world hunger I’ll give him credit for it.

It’s about being honest and objective.

You could attribute that Statement to the vast majority of professional politicians in this and most other countries.
However, I bet Trump doesn’t fiddle his expenses and blatantly rip off the tax payers due to pure greed...
