Exactly this.

Daniel Levy is the fucking same, he is a very good business man but a greedy twat where it's 1 way traffic totally blinkered when putting a price on his players.

He wants a kings ransom & wants to bleed every penny from the buyers yet he won't pay them what he thinks there worth at Spurs.

The same is with Mahrez all tunnell vision. 60m is a whacking price & worth every penny IMO he will get a hefty wage rise to go with that fee.

Liecester need to craic on take the money & nice profit & move on.
Isnt that Levy doing his job?

Totally but my argument is Mahrez, Ali or Kane should be saying if you ain't paying me what you think I'm worth then I sign fuck all.

Mahrez has a point here, he was told he could leave & Liecester are now taking the piss.

What does Sport witness imply? That they watch sport. Sure I could do that. In fact I'm great at it.

Agree but bottom line those players renew there contracts with spurs and usually sign 6 year deals

With Mahrez I cant feel sorry for him, he signed his latest contract in 2016 August, after they won the league while I sure he enjoyed a big payrise to be around 100k per week with that deal but surely at age 25 he wasnt expecting that Leicester will be close to CL football apart from that season. So with that in mind he and his agent should have come up with that contract extension with something like a clause for actual top4 teams buyout clause at 50m. It may have made Leicester not offer himm that much per week and he may already got his move since than...
But with being player of the year I am sure Leicester would still have accepted a clause like that at the time. Now the club is fucking him over with this promises like "we gonna let you go for what you did for us".I heard Joorabchian became his agent just lately no wonder he changed the previous one as that contract extension negotiating now hurts him badly of 2 years ago.

He doesn't seem like a Guardiola type of player. If he does come he'll need to improve his work ethic.
If only we had someone at the club would could determine who is or is not a player that Pep Guardiola would like to coach. Guess we'll never know

It's Leicester. I mention because you posted that twice. At least I read what you post!

If he's not a Guardiola type of player then why does Guardiola want him? And why would one of the most demanding managers on the planet sign a player with a bad work ethic?

Are these actually your own opinions or just repetition of what you've read online? Neither point makes any sense to me.

Did that comment about Mahrez being unveiled alongside Jorginho next week get deleted? Swear I read it on here and can't see it anymore (nor the other threads).

Was it just a bloke on the wind up?

I thought I recall hearing in January that Mahrez was upset because he was given assurances if he signed the new deal in '16 they would allow a transfer after that season. But to your point, a handshake deal isn't a contract, and if he & his agent were adamant about this it should have been in writing. It's also possible he heard it as "sign this and play out this year and we'll give you a transfer" and the team meant "if a suitable offer comes in, we'll deal".

Strange that him and his agent wouldn’t have that in writing somehow. What was he touted at like 35 mil that season? Leicester getting double that. Mad. I wouldn’t sign any contract with a verbal agreement I could get out of it haha.

They agreed to sell him for a “fair price”. A figure which they themselves are plucking out of thin air. First they wanted 35 million from Roma and then 6 months later want 75 million from us. Jokers.
