Good win but again its not a measure of form. Wales arguably had a more difficult run. England run the risk of being undercooked by the the time this competition gets going. Again the win is fine but it tells us nothing really against this type of opposition.

Better England sides have drawn or lost these games in the past, we weren’t great today, just scored goals. But we need to take that forward with confidenceZ

It's not about the scoreline it's about the performance and us and Belgium are chalk and cheese on that front. They've scored all their goals by carving teams open with ease in open play, we've barely created a thing in open play against the same teams, but have scored with almost every set piece we've taken. If it comes down to a set piece battle, sure we'll beat anyone, but in open play we've been largely pretty disappointing against a couple of teams who clearly aren't world beaters

Bull shit!! The first match against Tunisia we carvedthem open several time but didn't score...what match have you been watching???

Today we battered a team we'd have lost to in years gone by.

Yesterday the complaint was the lack of goals we scored against Tunisia compared to Belgium.

We've been more clinical than Belgium were against Panama but apparently now it's not the number but the type of goals we scored.

No it wasnt. This is a knockout competition. You need to preserve your stamina and your players as much as you can. England have not played a high energy game yet and those fresh legs could be the difference. Look to Germany to see how fucked they are after two games!
