Didn’t someone prove on here last night it wasn’t actually his mums instagram account?
If he comes, he comes. If he doesn't then we find a replacement as good or better, if not this summer then the summer after. We're not desperate, we can wait. The most important thing is that whoever comes is the right player of the right quality and not a buy just for the sake of it.
Agree. I'm honestly not overly arsed about this deal. I realise Yaya needs to be replaced but if its not Jorginho im sure we will sign someone else who can do the role just as well.

Invariably except for Alves and Alexis in the last twelve months. Add Fred to the list as well per Sammy LeeI'm not saying that, as I have no insight into Chelsea's own business. I'm saying we have trodden a very well-worn path when it comes to these protracted will he won't he sign?
They invariably do, barring a certain type of character.
Txiki certainly didn't strike me as being too concerned on the Inside Video yesterday, nor Pep, who is the man he has to please.

We pulled the plug on Fred in February, once we established Jorginho talks, even Fred's own agents were telling the Brazilian press pack they had heard nothing else back from us.
Sammy is wrong on that one. In actual fact, we had teed up the Fred deal in January but Pep put his foot down on Laporte, not wanting to trust Vinny injury issues.
As for Sanchez, Soriano had Xmas lunch with some selected members of the press in the Tunnel Club.
It was made clear even in mid December that we would not be dragged to the table on Sanchez, and would only be prepared to sign him on a free this summer.
We also wanted to make Arsenal pay for messing us around last summer.
Sanchez just wanted out, so those players you cite, barring Alves, we had long left the field clear to United.
We’ve been through this beforeLove the way you’re all so relaxed about losing him to Chelsea. There was a reason Pep has targeted him all summer long and it would be a real blow to lose him

That goes for RVP too. We bid £14m and wouldn't go any higher.
That's fair enough on those examples, I just disagree on this approach. If Jorginho is our target, just close the deal already. In our fortunate position the hard work is identifying the player, vetting his personality and fit for the system, and agreeing personal terms. There aren't many players that will tick all those boxes and who will be an upgrade to the squad and we found one!We pulled the plug on Fred in February, once we established Jorginho talks, even Fred's own agents were telling the Brazilian press pack they had heard nothing else back from us.

Absolutely this! I’m very ‘old skool’ City. And used to be a typical ‘glass half empty’ pessimist where all things City are concerned. But I’ve, without even realising, became ‘the worm that turned.’ I really don’t give a flying fxxk what Chelsea, the Scum or any of the ‘Underlings’ do. We are so far ahead, they’re going to struggle to catch up even if we stand still, let alone overtake us! And those of you slating our hierarchy need to give your heads a wobble and dry your fannies! If he comes, he comes.
