Jorginho

But not needed. The level of money they’re on proves they’re all only really in it for that, but some for success too. Sanchez’s motivation was money, not mixed with success, just money. We had a cap and he wanted more so he’s sacrificed success for money. Each to his own and I’d never hammer someone for it. But we don’t need to do that now whereas united do. It’s akk they have to attract player with in the main. I personally love how we do business.
In fairness, it's not like he's locked out of success in the next season or two at United, no matter how much we wish otherwise.

I’m only surmising here:

Sarri promised the chavs that he could get Jorginho to come with.

Napoli done a deal with us.

Chavs are hilding Sarri to their deal.

Napoli are happy for this to happen to get a bidding war going. They want him joining chavs but like Marhrez he wants to join Pep.

City are actively looking for new targets just in case.

?

A league cup maybe. He could’ve had that at Arsenal. They’re nowhere near us in the league. Nowhere near.
Oh, I agree absolutely relative to us. I think maybe you have a more optimistic view of Arsenal's chances than I do.

I think sometimes throwing large amount of money at players that we really need, would by the looks of it fit seamlessly into our system and the manager seemingly is desperate for is necessary.

It appears we have lost this deal over a matter of say £5/£6 million which really isn’t a lot
Didn't affect us last season so why worry this coming season?

They look doomed actually but I was referring to his FA Cup success.
On arse though, I don’t know any of the players they’ve bought other than that old bastard defender. Doesn’t bode well for them this season.

Don’t think it is the just the money. That is a bonus for Napoli. It’s the facts of going to Larndan, Chel$ki and following Sarri. Against coming to Manchester and Pep.

Love how City thought the Chelsea story was fabricated when it clearly wasn’t

I'm intrigued as to why any City fan would 'love' this.

I get why a Chelsea fan in this scenario would love that aspect of the story - I'd love it if the shoe was on the other foot - but I'm interested what it is about City being shafted and lied to by a player and his agent that you love?

I guess reveling in your own Club's misfortune is a part of modern support I just don't get.

Although to be fair, there were years where supporting City was all about just that - there was fuck all else to revel in at the time, so that was all we had. Maybe that's difficult to let go of.

It’s a turn of phrase rather than an expression of feeling, hope that helps

Torreira (Uruguay playmaker in this world cup) and Leno (keeper) are quality and big improvements on what they have, don't have a Scooby who the other two are.

I think because last season we had a plan to bring in a number of players whereas this summer it’s clear we seem to have been only in for two and these were the two players identified to move us on again

They are of good quality. I think this season might be difficult for them (and maybe even next) while they turn over a good amount of the squad.

Yeah, they've gotten themselves into a hole alright. Even the business they did in January was bringing in quality but older players.

Because each season is a new one and we're very thin in the position he would be covering? Also Fernandinho is 33, played a ton of games last season, and looked gash this world cup?
He's hardly played apart from the Belgium game where I agree he was poor. Bit harsh to say he gash was this WC, poor against Belgium but apart from that he looked ok imo
