There were plenty of comments last season from rival fans that City would not be considered a great side until they had won back to back title wins. This I believe is true. That is a test of a team's quality and its mentality. we proved we have the quality last season, now we have to show the right character. No one can know for sure how we will do and whether we will pass or fail.

I agree with this. Signings means competition for places, but the biggest factor are the players themselves and the manager. The biggest antidote to complacency is surely the manager.
