Yeah looked like he was option B after Kev (he played as an AM at the time).Seem to remember he was one we were very much considering the same summer we brought in Raz and Kev.

2 of them, Liverpool offered them more money and we didn't think they were worth it, or didn't think they had the right to ask for it, take your pick. Most scouts aren't even paid for more than expenses, a lot aren't paid even expenses and the vast majority have zero job security. I know 1 lad that does occasional work for City in Ireland and he's well looked after and delighted so I'd understand either option.Who was the scout that was pouched from us and why didn’t we manage to make him stay?

It isn’t their fault
They've made a huge book profit on Coutinho and the extra income they're bringing in from CL gives them a big budget for amortization on transfers. They can't do this every summer without sales though, basically they're rolling the dice.

It is going to be a big task to integrate so many new players into a system as demanding as Klopp's especially in a post World Cup season. I hope that we can start the season strongly and establish a 10 point lead over them by Xmas.
After spending this much I think Klopp will need a real trophy rather than an ethereal dipper one. Could be gone by this time next year.
