On holiday in Spain when we signed him. My daughter and her mate off out, I took the opportunity to sample some tapas, sangria and have some me time. One of the English papers that day did a 4 page article on Bravo, his career to date and how it came about he was coached to being the keeper with the ability we supposedly were purchasing. Really in depth read and I thought ‘wow’.

Turns out he can’t keep goal whatsoever.

Controversal but i used to have this argument a lot with mates, they'd see his last ditch blocks etc and think he was great without realising that he'd given it away in the first place, or was in the wrong position. No doubt whatsoever about his heart and determination but this thread isn't about a lack of those.

Yeh, worst as in ability, not work rate.

An average of 5 goals a season in the lower tiers for a centre forward. In terms of quality, he's definitely down there.

He couldn't shoot from outside of 20 yards, couldn't kick it that far!!

Martin Buster Phillips, I remember watching him against West Ham (1996 I think) and thinking he looked great. Best player on the pitch that day, and Kinkladze was playing. What a disappointment that turned out to be.

All he did was jog around and point. He did nowt else for us at all. I couldn't believe he was a player who'd played for Real Madrid, it was like he was an impersonator of a footballer.

At least with other players, we knew they were shit, but to be as shit as him when he'd scored two goals in a CL final...
