Had to laugh at their seasons predictions thread. Quite a few of em had us down to win the domestic treble!

Makes me laugh when he moans about lack of signings when he has already spent 83 million in this window and has the the highest wages in the PL and a team littered with very high cost purchases
 
I can't wait for this season, and United so clearly headed for a complete clusterfuck is one of the main reasons why.

It's petty I know, but it's so much fun seeing them scramble around to sign someone like Boateng 2 days before the window closes, while Pogba and Raiola are trying to convince someone to save him and Mourinho takes shots at half the squad. Shaw's broken, Martial is sulking, Matic out injured, even captain Valencia arriving back from preseason overweight.

It couldn't be further away from our set up.

I'm almost certainly giving them way too much credit here, but are we sure Boateng isn't just a negotiating ploy for Alderweireld? Spurs want to sell him and theres only one buyer

Spurs definitely don't want to sell him, if they did it wouldn't be dragging on until the deadline day.

Maybe wanting to sell him is too strong but at the end of the day they're a selling club and Daniel Levy sure as shit isn't losing him on a free. They're not close on a new deal (and even if they were, now that he knows how much United are going to pay him they aren't anymore) and even gave him the Walker treatment towards the end of last season.

And speaking of Walker, I think that would've dragged on towards the end of the window as everyone expected if we hadn't essentially paid the sticker price.

More than lack of results, the universal contempt for their style of play is going to really harm them.

How many talented young kids will want to join their academy? How many more prospective transfers walk away because they would play for anyone but manure / the sore loser.....
I just pray he stays on for another couple of years.
 
It's our fault they can't sign Maguire.

Buying Mahrez has allowed Leicester to take the piss according to a rag I socialise with...
