Having 1000 tickets reserved as a carrot for new members isn't that unreasonable. It just depends what happens to those tickets if unsold, a bit like sponsor ticket takeup, I guess - they could be put on sale at a later point.

Only when they play a team with a decent finisher will they get some pain. Doing just enough to protect the revenue streams is all the Glazers want to do at the moment till they have more than reasonable doubt to bin off the manager, then they have to pay him off for £12 million whilst they pay off Moyes and Van Gaal all at the same time.

Then they have to go balls deep and find another manager and god knows how much they will have to spend to get some players in to fit the new mans needs, if its someone looking to play like City, Liverpool,Spurs and soon to be Chelsea do I cant really see someone like Matic and Pogba playing a high press turn the ball over in 5 seconds game.
